Der Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 ist ein mobiler Prozessor für Notebooks. Er integriert erstmals die von Nuvia stammenden Oryon CPU-Kerne. Diese 12 (3 Cluster zu 4 Kernen) Kerne takten mit bis zu 3,4 GHz (kein höherer Dual-Core Boost wie bei den stärkeren Modellen) und nutzen den ARM v8.7 Befehlssatz. Die CPU-Leistung hängt stark vom eingesetzten TDP ein. Dieser kann von bis zu 80 Watt eingestellt werden.
Die Leistung der CPU-Kerne scheint bei angepasster Software hervorragend zu sein. Die Single-Core Performance im Cinebench 2024 kann mit den schnellsten Kernen von Apple (M3) und Intel mithalten bzw. diese sogar überholen. Unter Windows hat die CPU jedoch immer einen Nachteil bei nicht angepasster Software, da diese emuliert werden muss. Besonder Spiele sind hier stark betroffen, die oft nicht vernünftig laufen.
Zusätzlich zum CPU-Teil, integriert der X Elite eine starke NPU mit bis zu 45 TOPS für AI-Beschleunigung.
Die integrierte Grafikkarte ist etwas älter und unterstützt kein vollständiges DirectX 12 Ultimate (nur 12_1, jedoch inklusive Raytracing). Mit nur 3,8 TFLOPS bietet die GPU deutlich weniger Maximalleistung als in den Topmodellen (z.B. 4,6 TFLOPS im X1E-84-100).
Trotz der fehlenden Effizienzkerne, soll der Snapdragon X Elite laut Qualcomm sehr effizient sein. Der Chip wird im 4nm Prozess bei TSMC produziert. In unseren Tests ist die Effizienz etwas höher als bei den aktuellen Intel und AMD Modellen, aber leicht hinter Apple (M3).
Intel Core i7-13620H ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i7-13620H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der Raptor Lake-H Serie (Alder-Lake-Architektur), die im Januar 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 4 der 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 2,4 bis 4,9 GHz (Einzelkern-Turbo, alle Kerne bis 4,7 GHz). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,5 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6700HQ ). Im Vergleich zum 13700H bietet der 13620H nur halb so viele E-Kerne und wahrscheinlich eine schwächere iGPU.
Performance
Durch die höhere Taktung, sollte sich der i7-13620H etwas vom alten Core i7-12650H abheben können, bleibt aber hinter den 14-Kern-Modellen zurück (wie z.B. Core i7-13700H ).
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 13620H sind nur 64 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,5 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt jetzt DDR5-5200 (im Vergleich zur 4800 MHz beim 12650H). Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt PCIe 5.0 x8 für eine dGPU und zwei PCIe 4.0 x4 für SSDs. Der PCH bietet noch PCIe Gen3 x12.
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-13620H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (115W PL2). Gefertigt wird der i7 im weiter verbesserten Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm SuperFin).

Der Intel Core i9-13900H ist eine High-End-CPU der Raptor-Lake-H Serie (RPL-H). Im Unterschied zu RPL-HX, ist die H-Serie sehr ähnlich zu den alten Alder-Lake-Prozessoren. Die CPU bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove oder Raptor Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,6 bis 5,4 GHz (Einzelkernturbo, 4,9 GHz für alle Kerne). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,9 - 4,1 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ ).
Im Unterschied zum i9-13900HK , bietet der 13900H alle Features von vPro aber keine einfache Übertaktbarkeit.
Performance
Durch die höheren Tatkraten, kann der Core i9-13900H den älteren Core i9-12900H leicht abhängen und ist damit gemeinsam mit dem 13900HK die schnellste 45 Watt CPU von Intel. Bei ausreichender Kühlung, ist die CPU für alle Anwendungsbereiche hervorragend geeignet. Vor dem 13900H positionieren sich jedoch die HX-Modelle wie der i9-13980HX mit mehr E-Kernen und verbesserten P-Kernen.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12900H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert.
