Die AMD Radeon R7 M445 wurde Mitte 2016 vorgestellt. Die DirectX-12-Grafikkarte entspricht technisch der älteren Radeon R7 M340 bzw. M440 mit leicht verringerten Taktraten und besitzt somit auch 320 Shadereinheiten. Diese sind jedoch nur mit 920 MHz getaktet. Als Grafikspeicher dient 4-GB-GDDR5, welcher mit 1.000 MHz getaktet ist. Der Grafikspeicher ist ist über ein 64 Bit Speicherinterface angebunden, was eine rechnerische Speicherbandbreite von 32 GB/s entspricht. Auf Grund des Refresh basiert auch die AMD Radeon R7 M445 auf den alten, in 28 nm gefertigten GCN-Chips. Die neueren Polaris-Chips werden in der moderneren 14nm-FinFET-Fertigung hergestellt.
Bei der Spieleleistung wird deutlich, dass es sich hier ganz klar um eine Einsteigergrafikkarte handelt mit der gelegentliches Spielen in HD-Auflösungen durchaus möglich ist. Zuviel sollte allerdings nicht erwartet werden. Ältere Tietel, der Jahre 2013/2014 lassen sich teilweise gut mit einer HD-Auflösung und einem High-Preset spielen, wobei sich die AMD Radeon R7 M445 mit Spielen der Jahre 2015/2016 zunehmend schwerer tut. Im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz aus dem Hause Nvidia ist die AMD Radeon R7 M445 etwa Augenhöhe mit den Nvidia GeForce 940M - und den Nvidia GeForce 940MX (DDR3) – Modellen.

Die AMD Radeon R7 M460 ist eine Anfang 2016 vorgestellte DirectX-12-Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Technisch ist es eine Radeon R7 M360 mit minimal erhöhten Taktraten. Die Leistung ist daher auf dem selben Niveau und in der Einsteigsklasse (siehe Benchmarks unten).
Vorgestellt wurde die AMD Radeon R7 M460 im 15-Zoll Modell des Yoga 510 (siehe unseren Newsartikel) .

Die AMD Radeon R7 M440 ist eine Mitte 2016 vorgestellte DirectX-12-Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie entspricht technisch exakt der älteren Radeon R7 M340 und bietet damit 320 Shadereinheiten bei 1.120 MHz Taktrate sowie 2 GB DDR3-Speicher bei 1.000 MHz (64-Bit-Interface). Die Fertigung erfolgt in einem 28-nm-Prozess.
Die Spieleleistung ist vergleichbar mit der älteren Radeon R7 M340 oder einer GeForce 920M , weshalb Titel des Jahres 2015/2016 zumeist nur in niedrigen Einstellungen flüssig dargestellt werden. In "The Witcher 3", "Fallout 4" und "Rise of the Tomb Raider" positioniert sich die M440 in unseren Benchmarks genau zwischen der GeForce 920M und 920MX.
