AMD Radeon 660M ► remove from comparison Die AMD Radeon 660M (oder RX 660M) ist eine integrierte Grafikkarte (iGPU) für Notebooks. Sie befindet sich in den Einstiegs-Rembrandt-APUs (Ryzen 6000 Mobile) und bietet nur 6 (384 Shader) der 12 CUs. Sie nutzt die aktuelle RDNA 2 Architektur (wie die RX 6000M Serie). Die Taktrate ist abhängig vom CPU-Modell und rangiert beim Launch von 1,5 - 1,9 GHz (maximaler Boost-Takt). Die GPU hat keinen eigenen Grafikspeicher, sondern nutzt den gemeinsamen Hauptspeicher (bis zu LPDDR5 6400 MT/s oder DDR5 4800 MT/s). Als erste iGPU neben der 680M, unterstützt die 660M Raytracing in Hardware, ist jedoch bei aktuellen Spielen zu langsam um dieses Feature sinnvoll nutzen zu können.
Die Leistung der GPU ist abhängig von der CPU, dem konfiguriertem TDP (15 - 45W+), der Kühlung und dem verbautem Hauptspeicher. Die Performance sollte durch die geringere CU-Anzahl und geringere Taktung deutlich hinter der Radeon 680M liegen und wohl nur auf dem Level der alten Vega 7 iGPUs .
Der Stromverbrauch ist dank 6nm Prozess und ausgeklügelten Stromsparmechanismen relativ gering (laut AMD) und daher eignet sich die Grafikkarte auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks (vor allem die 15W Varianten).
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU ► remove from comparison Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU oder 3060 Mobile (für Laptops, GN20-E3, Max-P / Max-Q) ist Anfang 2021 die dritt-schnellste mobile Ampere-Grafikkarte. Sie basiert auf den GA106 Ampere Chip und bietet 6 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher mit einem 192 Bit Grafikbus (mit 12 oder 14 Gbps). Sie unterstützt PCIe 4.0 und soll in zwei verschiedenen Varianten mit 60 bis 115 Watt (TGP) verfügbar sein. Als Package nutzt die Notebook-Grafikkarte GB5-256 und die Chipgröße soll 40x40mm betragen. Die GPU unterstützt eDP 1.4b zum Anschluss des internen Monitors.
Es gibt nun keine Max-Q Variante mehr (die 60 - 70 Watt Versionen heissen auch nur "Laptop GPU"), aber jede TGP-Version kann die Max-Q Technologien nutzen (Dynamic Boost, Whispermode).
Die Leistung ist abhängig von der TGP-Variante und der verwendeten Kühlung. Im Schnitt sollte sie etwa auf dem Level einer alten RTX 2070 Super Mobile liegen. Dadurch ist die Leistung bei anspruchsvollen Spielen am besten für QHD (2560x1440) und maximalen Details geeignet. Weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele können auch in 4k flüssig gespielt werden.
Der GA106 Chip bietet 3.840 FP32 ALUs wovon die Hälfte auch INT32 Befehle ausführen können (also 1.920 INT32 ALUs). Die RTX 3060 nutzt davon alle 3840 Kerne. Bei Turing konnten noch alle Shader FP32 oder INT32 ausführen. Die Raytracing und Tensor Kerne auf dem Chip wurden laut Nvidia ebenfalls verbessert. Weiters integriert der Ampere Chip einen Hardware Video-Encoder (NVENC 5. Generation für H.264 und H.265) und Decoder (7. Generation für zahlreiche Formate inklusive AV1).
Der GA106 Chip wird bei Samsung im 8nm (8N) Verfahren welches mit dem 7nm Verfahren von TSMC nicht ganz mithalten kann (z.B. von AMD genutzt, aber auch für den professionellen GA100 Ampere Chip).
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB Laptop GPU ► remove from comparison Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU (oder Mobile, NVIDIA_DEV.2583, GN20-P0) ist die kleinste Variante der RTX 3000 Serie und basiert auf den GA107 Ampere Chip. Sie bietet 2048 CUDA-, 16 Raytracing und 64 Tensor-Kerne. Der Speicherbus ist mit 128 Bit spezifiziert für maximal 4 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher. Die schnellere RTX 3050 Ti bietet 25% mehr Kerne bei ähnlichen Taktraten und gleichem spezifizierten Stromverbrauch. Anfang 2023 gab es einen Refresh der RTX 3050 mit 6GB VRAM , reduziertem Speicherbus und wahrscheinlich höheren Kernzahl.
Wie üblich wird es verschiedene Varianten mit einem TGP von 35 - 50 (ehemals Max-Q) und 60 - 80 Watt geben. Diese takten von 713 - 1530 (Basistakt) bis 1058 - 1740 (Boost) und bieten dementsprechend eine unterschiedliche Performance.

Die durchschnittliche Leistung liegt etwas unterhalb der alten GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q . Diese kann jedoch deutlich variieren je nach TGP Variante. Dadurch eignet sich die GPU am Besten für Full HD mit hohen Details. Für Raytracing Effekte reicht die Leistung kaum aus, jedoch können die Tensor-Kerne via DLSS in manchen Spielen zu einer höheren Leistung helfen.
Der GA107 Chip bietet 3.072 FP32 ALUs wovon die Hälfte auch INT32 Befehle ausführen können (also 1.536 INT32 ALUs). Bei Turing konnten noch alle Shader FP32 oder INT32 ausführen.
