Die Nvidia RTX A2000 Laptop GPU oder A2000 Mobile (für Laptops) ist eine professionelle Grafikkarte für mobile Workstations. Sie bietet eine ähnliche Performance wie die Consumer GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU und bietet ebenfalls 2.560 CUDA-Kerne, 20 Raytracing-Kerne und 80 Tensor-Kerne (selber GA107 Chip). Im Vergleich zu einer günstigeren GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU mit Studio Treibern, bietet die RTX A2000 zertifizierte Treiber für zahlreiche professionelle Applikationen.
In 2022 veröffentlichte Nvidia eine leicht verbesserte Version der RTX A2000 mehr und schneller getaktetem Grafikspeicher. Die ursprünglichen 4 GB mit 11 GBits wurden verdoppelt zu 8 GB GDDR6 die mit 14 GBits getaktet werden.
Wie auch die GeForce RTX 3050Ti Mobile , ist auch die RTX A2000 in verschiedenen TGP-Versionen erhältlich. Diese rangieren bei der A2000 von 35 - 95 Watt. Je nach verbauter Variante unterscheiden sich die Taktraten von Chip und Speicher und damit auch deutlich die Performance.
Es gibt nun keine Max-Q Variante mehr (die 35+ Versionen heissen auch nur "Laptop GPU"), aber jede TGP-Version kann die Max-Q Technologien nutzen (Dynamic Boost, WhisperMode).
Die professionellen Grafikkarten von Nvidia bieten zertifizierte Treiber , welche auf Stabiltität und Performance bei professionellen Anwendungen (CAD-, DCC-, Medizin-, Prospektions-, Visualisierungsanwendungen) optimiert sind.
Die Leistung ist abhängig von der TGP-Variante und der verwendeten Kühlung. Bei gleichem TGP sollte sie aber deutlich oberhalb einer alten Quadro T2000 bzw. T2000 Max-Q für Laptops liegen.
Der GA107 Chip bietet 2.560 FP32 ALUs wovon die Hälfte auch INT32 Befehle ausführen können (also 1.280 INT32 ALUs). Bei Turing konnten noch alle Shader FP32 oder INT32 ausführen. Die Raytracing und Tensor Kerne auf dem Chip wurden laut Nvidia ebenfalls verbessert. Weiters integriert der Ampere Chip einen Hardware Video-Encoder (NVENC 5. Generation für H.264 und H.265) und Decoder (7. Generation für zahlreiche Formate inklusive AV1).
Der GA107 Chip wird bei Samsung im 8nm (8N) Verfahren welches mit dem 7nm Verfahren von TSMC nicht ganz mithalten kann (z.B. von AMD genutzt, aber auch für den professionellen GA100 Ampere Chip).

Die Nvidia Quadro RTX 3000 with Max-Q Design ist eine professionelle Grafikkarte für große Notebooks / mobile Workstations. Die Max-Q Variante ist eine auf Effizienz optimierte Version der RTX 3000 mit verringerten Taktraten. Sie basiert auf den selben Chip wie die Consumer GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q jedoch mit zertifizierten Treibern für professionelle Anwendungen, weniger Shader und geringeren Taktraten und langsameren, aber größerem Grafikspeicher. Nach aktuellen Informationen gibt es drei verschiedene Max-Q Varianten mit einem Stromverbrauch der Karte (TGP) von 70, 65 und 60 Watt im Vergleich zu den 80 Watt der normalen mobilen RTX 3000.

Die Quadro-Grafikkarten bieten zertifizierte Treiber , welche auf Stabiltität und Performance bei professionellen Anwendungen (CAD-, DCC-, Medizin-, Prospektions-, Visualisierungsanwendungen) optimiert sind. Dadurch ist die Performance im Vergleich zu den Consumergrafikkarten mit gleichem Chip in diesen Bereichen deutlich besser.
Features
Der TU106-Chip wird in 12nm gefertigt und bietet eine Reihe neuer Features, wie DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) und Real Time Ray Tracing. Dadurch lassen sich vor allem Beleuchtungseffekte sehr viel realistischer darstellen. Weiterhin gibt es Support für DisplayPort 1.4 (ready), HDMI 2.0b, HDR, Simultaneous Multi-Projection (SMP) sowie H.265 Video De- und Encoding (PlayReady 3.0).
Performance
Je nach Variante, kann die Max-Q Version deutlich Performance zur normalen RTX 4000 einbüßen. Zwar ist der maximale Boost-Takt bei der schnellsten Variante vergleichbar, der garantierte Basistakt liegt jedoch deutlich darunter. Dadurch ist die Performance stark von der Kühlung abhängig.
Im Vergleich zu Consumer-Karten, wie der höher gektateten RTX 2070 Max-Q verhelfen die Quadro Treiber der RTX 3000 Max-q jedoch zu einer höheren Performance.
Mit einem TDP von 60-70 Watt benötigt die Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q zwar deutlich weniger als die stärkeren RTX 4000 und 5000 GPUs, jedoch eignet sie sich trotzdem nur für große Workstation Laptops.
NVIDIA T600 Laptop GPU ► remove from comparison
Die Nvidia T600 Laptop GPU (früher Quadro T600 für Laptops) ist eine professionelle Grafikkarte für Notebooks und mobile Workstations der Mittelklasse. Sie basiert auf den selben TU117 Turing-Chip wie die Consumer GTX 1650 für Laptops. Im Gegensatz zur stärkeren RTX A2000 , bietet die T600 keine Raytracing und Tensor-Kerne.
Laut Nvidia ist die theoretische Leistung der T600 mit 2,5 TFLOPS Peak SP definiert und damit knapp hinter der alten Quadro T1000. Dadurch sollten die Taktraten der T600 etwas geringer ausfallen

Bei der Turing Architektur gab es auch auf der Ebene der CUDA-Kerne deutliche Verbesserungen. Float und INT Operationen können nun gleichzeitig ausgeführt werden, der Cache wurde vereinheitlicht und verbessert und Adaptive Shading eingeführt. Nvidia spricht dadurch von einer bis zu 50% höheren Leistung pro Kern im Vergleich zu Pascal. Bei den stärkeren Modellen der A Serie wird jedoch schon der Nachfolger, die Ampere Generation, eingesetzt.
Nvidia spezifiziert einen TDP von 25 Watt. Die ältere und sehr ähnliche T1000 war mit einem TGP von 40-50 Watt spezifiziert. Dadurch sollte sich die T600 auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks eignen.
