AMD Ryzen 9 PRO 6950H vs Intel Core i3-1115G4 vs AMD Ryzen 7 6800H

Der AMD Ryzen 9 PRO 6950H ist ein Mobilprozessor für große Notebooks (z.B. Workstation Laptops) basierend auf die Rembrandt Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 3+ Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) welche mit bis zu 4,9 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (16 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 6nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und wurde im April 2022 vorgestellt. Im Vergleich zum Consumer Ryzen 9 6900HX , bietet der PRO 6950H keine Übertaktungsfunktionen aber zusätzliche Managemen und Sicherheitsfunktionen (Microsoft Pluton Security Prozessor).
Die neuen Rembrandt APUs bieten einige Neuerungen, wie Support für USB4 mit 40 Gbps, PCI-E Gen 4, DDR5-4800MT/s bzw LPDDR5-6400MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth LE 5.2, DisplayPort 2 und AV1 Decode in Hardware.
Die CPU Leistung ist pro Takt vergleichbar mit den alten Ryzen 5000 APUs, dank des neuen 6nm Prozess sind die CPUs aber höher getaktet und dadurch etwas schneller. Die neuen Alder Lake-H Modelle (wie der i9-12900HK sollten durch die höhere Kernanzahl aber noch eine bessere Multi-Threaded-Performance zeigen). Durch den um 100 MHz reduzierten Turbo-Takt, sollte die Performance nur knapp hinter dem Spitzenmodell Ryzen 9 6980HX liegen.
Eine besondere Neuheit ist die aktualisierte Grafikkarte namens Radeon 680M , die nun endlich auf die aktuelle RDNA2-Architektur basiert und im 6950H 12 CUs mit bis zu 2,4 GHz Takt bietet.
Der TDP ist weiterhin mit 45 Watt spezifiziert.
Intel Core i3-1115G4 ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i3-1115G4 ist ein sparsamer Dual-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und im September 2020 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren (SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Mikroarchitektur. Der Intel Core i5-1115G4 bietet zwei Kerne mit Hyperthreading (4 Threads) und 3 GHz Basistakt bis 4,1 GHz Turbo-Takt (auch wenn beide Kerne genutzt werden).
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel UHD Graphics Xe G4 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bieten soll. Im 1115G7 bietet die UHD Graphics jedoch nur 48 der 96 EUs bei einem Takt von 400 - 1250 MHz.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und nun auch Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 und 4 Lanes PCIe 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.
Der TDP kann bei den UP3 CPUs von 12 - 28 Watt gewählt werden und dadurch eignet sich die CPU auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks.

Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 3+ Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) welche mit 3,2 GHz (garantierter Basistakt) bis zu 4,7 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (16 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 6nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und wurde Anfang 2022 vorgestellt.
