AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS ► remove from comparison Der AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS ist ein High-End- Notebook-Prozessor der Phoenix Serie mit 8-Kernen und Hyperthreading (SMT), womit dieser in Summe bis zu 16 Threads gleichzeitig verarbeiten kann. Die CPU nutzt die neue Zen 4 Architektur und taktet diese von 4 GHz (Basistakt) bis zu 5,2 GHz (Einzelkern-Boost). Die CPU bietet 8 MB L2-Cache und 16 MB L3-Cache.
Die Performance des Topmodells der Phoenix-Serie sollte bei 54W TDP vergleichbar mit dem AMD Ryzen 7 7745HX (ebenfalls 8 Zen 4 Kerne, max 5,1 GHz, 55W, 32 MB L3) und damit deutlich vor dem alten Spitzenmodell AMD Ryzen 9 6980HX bzw. 6980HS (mit geringerem TDP).
Der Chip integriert eine moderne RDNA 3 basierende Grafikkarte (iGPU) namens Radeon 780M mit 12 CUs und bis zu 2.8 GHz inklusive AV1 Video-Engine. Erstmals ist auch eine Xilinx FPGA basierte XDNA AI Beschleuniger integriert. Dieser soll schneller sein als die AI-Engine im Apple M2 SoC . An Anschlüssen bietet Phoenix 2x USB 4 (40 Gbps), 20 PCIe 4.0 Lanes und einen Dual-Channel DDR5-5600 / LPDDR5x-7500 Speicherkontroller (mit ECC Support).
Die Phoenix Serie ist ein einzelner Chip (im Unterschied zur Dragon Range 7045HX Serie) und wird bei TSMC im modernen 4nm FinFET Prozess gefertigt.
Intel Core i9-13905H ► remove from comparison Der Intel Core i9-13905H ist eine High-End-CPU der Raptor-Lake-H Serie (RPL-H). Im Unterschied zu RPL-HX, ist die H-Serie sehr ähnlich zu den alten Alder-Lake-Prozessoren. Die CPU bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove oder Raptor Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,6 bis 5,4 GHz (Einzelkernturbo, 4,9 GHz für alle Kerne). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,9 - 4,1 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ ). Im Unterschied zum ähnlichen i9-13900H ohne vPro Unterstütztung und mit einem anderen Socket und Package.
Performance
Durch die höheren Tatkraten, kann der Core i9-13905H den älteren Core i9-12900H leicht abhängen und ist damit gemeinsam mit dem 13900HK die schnellste 45 Watt CPU von Intel. Bei ausreichender Kühlung, ist die CPU für alle Anwendungsbereiche hervorragend geeignet. Vor dem 13905H positionieren sich jedoch die HX-Modelle wie der i9-13980HX mit mehr E-Kernen und verbesserten P-Kernen.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12900H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert.

Wie auch Alder-Lake-H, hat Raptor-Lake-H WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt nun schnelleren DDR5-5200 Speicher. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist weiterhin in Version 3.0 verbaut. Intel Core i5-13420H ► remove from comparison Der Intel Core i5-13420H ist eine Mittelklasse-CPU auf Basis der Raptor Lake-H Serie (Alder-Lake-Architektur), die im Januar 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU bietet 4 der 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 4 der 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 12 Threads) und takten von 2,1 bis 4,6 GHz (Einzelkern-Turbo, Mehrkern-Turbo 4,5 GHz). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,5 - 3,4 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ ). Im Vergleich zum 12500H bietet der 12420H nur die Hälfte der E-Cores und einen geringeren Boost-Takt der P-Cores.
Performance
Durch die höheren Taktraten (+200 MHz Boost) sollte sich der i5-13420H leicht vom alten i5-12450H absetzen können.
