AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS
► remove from comparisonDer AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS ist ein High-End-Notebook-Prozessor der Phoenix Serie mit 8-Kernen und Hyperthreading (SMT), womit dieser in Summe bis zu 16 Threads gleichzeitig verarbeiten kann. Die CPU nutzt die neue Zen 4 Architektur und taktet diese von 4 GHz (Basistakt) bis zu 5,2 GHz (Einzelkern-Boost). Die CPU bietet 8 MB L2-Cache und 16 MB L3-Cache.
Die Performance des Topmodells der Phoenix-Serie sollte bei 54W TDP vergleichbar mit dem AMD Ryzen 7 7745HX (ebenfalls 8 Zen 4 Kerne, max 5,1 GHz, 55W, 32 MB L3) und damit deutlich vor dem alten Spitzenmodell AMD Ryzen 9 6980HX bzw. 6980HS (mit geringerem TDP).
Der Chip integriert eine moderne RDNA 3 basierende Grafikkarte (iGPU) namens Radeon 780M mit 12 CUs und bis zu 2.8 GHz inklusive AV1 Video-Engine. Erstmals ist auch eine Xilinx FPGA basierte XDNA AI Beschleuniger integriert. Dieser soll schneller sein als die AI-Engine im Apple M2 SoC. An Anschlüssen bietet Phoenix 2x USB 4 (40 Gbps), 20 PCIe 4.0 Lanes und einen Dual-Channel DDR5-5600 / LPDDR5x-7500 Speicherkontroller (mit ECC Support).
Die Phoenix Serie ist ein einzelner Chip (im Unterschied zur Dragon Range 7045HX Serie) und wird bei TSMC im modernen 4nm FinFET Prozess gefertigt.
Intel Core i9-13900H
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i9-13900H ist eine High-End-CPU der Raptor-Lake-H Serie (RPL-H). Im Unterschied zu RPL-HX, ist die H-Serie sehr ähnlich zu den alten Alder-Lake-Prozessoren. Die CPU bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove oder Raptor Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,6 bis 5,4 GHz (Einzelkernturbo, 4,9 GHz für alle Kerne). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,9 - 4,1 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ).
Im Unterschied zum i9-13900HK, bietet der 13900H alle Features von vPro aber keine einfache Übertaktbarkeit.
Performance
Durch die höheren Tatkraten, kann der Core i9-13900H den älteren Core i9-12900H leicht abhängen und ist damit gemeinsam mit dem 13900HK die schnellste 45 Watt CPU von Intel. Bei ausreichender Kühlung, ist die CPU für alle Anwendungsbereiche hervorragend geeignet. Vor dem 13900H positionieren sich jedoch die HX-Modelle wie der i9-13980HX mit mehr E-Kernen und verbesserten P-Kernen.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12900H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert.
Features
Wie auch Alder-Lake-H, hat Raptor-Lake-H WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt nun schnelleren DDR5-5200 Speicher. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist weiterhin in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt PCIe 5.0 x8 für eine dGPU und zwei PCIe 4.0 x4 für SSDs. Der PCH bietet noch PCIe Gen3 x12.
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i9-13900H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (PL2 115 Watt). Gefertigt wird der 13900H im weiter verbesserten Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm SuperFin).
Intel Core i5-13600H
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i5-13600H ist eine Mittelklasse-CPU der Raptor Lake-H Serie (Alder-Lake-Architektur), die im Januar 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU bietet alle 4 der 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und alle 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 2,8 bis 4,8 GHz (Einzelkern-Boost, Mehrkern maximal 4,7 GHz). Die E-Kerne takten von 2,1 - 3,6 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ). Im Vergleich zum älteren Core i5-12600H, bietet der 13600H höhere Taktraten (z.B. +300 MHz Boost der P-Kerne). Weiterhin unterstützt die CPU vPro "Enterprise" Management Features.
Performance
Durch die höheren Taktung kann sich der i5-13600H etwas vom alten Core i5-12600H absetzen. Wie für Alder Lake üblich, ist die Leistung aber stark von der Kühlung und den TDP Settings abhängig.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 13600H sind nur 80 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,5 GHz.
