AMD Ryzen 9 4900H
► remove from comparisonDer AMD Ryzen 9 4900H ist ein Mobilprozessor für große Notebooks (z.B. Gaming-Laptops) basierend auf die Renoir Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 2 Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) welche mit bis zu 3,3 - 4,4 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (16 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 7nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und soll laut AMD eine 2x verbesserte Performance pro Watt bieten als die Ryzen 3000 APUs (z.B. den Ryzen 7 3750H Vorgänger).
Im Vergleich zum Ryzen 7 4800H, bietet der Ryzen 9 4900H eine 200 MHz (+5%) höhere Turbo-Taktfrequenz und 400 MHz mehr Basistakt. Nach ersten Informationen ist der Geschwindigkeitszuwachs in Notebooks im Vergleich zum 4800H jedoch relativ gering. Hier limitiert wahrscheinlich bereits TDP und die Kühllösung. Im Vergleich zu Intels Mobilprozessoren, sollte der Ryzen 9 4900H sich in vergleichbaren Performanceregionen wie der 9980HK einordnen.
Der SoC integriert neben den acht Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 8 Grafikkarte mit 8 CUs, einen Dual-Channel DDR4-3200 / LPDDR4-4266 Speicherkontroller und 12 MB Level 3 Cache. Detaillierte Informationen zu den Renoir APUs finden Sie hier auf unserer Architekturseite.
Der TDP der H-Modelle ist mit 45 Watt spezifiziert und damit 10 Watt höher als die HS-Modelle (siehe Ryzen 9 4900HS). Daher ist der Chip für große und schwere Notebooks vorgesehen und benötigt, trotz des effizienten 7nm Herstellungsprozesses, eine gute Kühlung um die Leistung auch dauerhaft zu erbringen.
Intel Core i9-10980HK
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i9-10980HK ist ein Achtkern-SoC für Notebooks, der auf der auf der Comet-Lake-Architektur basiert (CML-H, 4. Generation der Skylake Architektur). Er taktet die acht Prozessorkerne mit 2,4 GHz bis 5,3 GHz (Ein- und Zweikern Turbo, alle 8 Kerne mit maximal 4,4 GHz). Die 5,3 GHz können nur mittel Thermal Velocity Boost erreicht werden, das heißt die CPU muss unter 65°C heiß sein. Zwischen 65 und 85°C erreicht er noch 5,2 GHz. Die K-Version bezeichnet die Übertaktungsmöglichkeiten der CPU.
Die integrierte Grafikkarte hört auf den Namen UHD Graphics 630 und entspricht der alten HD Graphics 630. Die Leistungsaufnahme ist mit 45 Watt TDP spezifiziert und kann vom Notebookhersteller auf 35 Watt heruntergesetzt werden (configurable TDP = cTDP Down). Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger dem Core i9-9980H wurden nur die Taktfrequenzen erhöht (eventuell nur der garantierter Basistakt), sonst gibt es keine Unterschiede. Als "K"-Modell bietet der 9980HK einen offenen Multiplikator und kann dadurch relativ einfach übertaktet werden.
Die einzelnen Kerne haben sich bei Comet Lake im Vergleich zu Kaby Lake nicht verändert. Die Leistung pro Takt bleibt also gleich und auch die Fertigung ist im Vergleich zu Coffee Lake die selbe (14nm++). Auch die Grafikkarte wurde nicht verbessert, sondern lediglich teilweise höher getaktet. Der integrierte Speichercontroller unterstützt nun DDR4-2933.
Der i9-10980HK unterstützt kein vPro, TXT und SIPP, für diese Business Features ist der später erscheinende Core i9-10885H und ev etwas langsamer getaktete geeignet.
Mit einem spezifizierten TDP von 45 Watt eignet sich der i9-10980HK am besten für große und schwere Notebooks. Optional kann er per Configurable TDP-down auf 35 Watt gedrosselt werden (mit dadurch geringerer Leistung).
Intel Core i7-10750H

Er taktet die sechs Prozessorkerne mit 2,6 - 5 GHz (Ein- und Zweikern Turbo, 4,3 GHz bei allen 6 Kernen). Die integrierte Grafikkarte hört auf den Namen UHD Graphics 630 und entspricht der alten HD Graphics 630. Die Leistungsaufnahme ist mit 45 Watt TDP spezifiziert und kann vom Notebookhersteller auf 35 Watt heruntergesetzt werden (configurable TDP = cTDP Down). Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger dem Core i7-9750H wurden nur die Taktfrequenzen erhöht, sonst gibt es keine Unterschiede.
