► remove from comparisonDer AMD Ryzen 7 7736U ist ein Mobilprozessor für Notebooks basierend auf die Rembrandt Refresh Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 3+ Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) welche mit 2,7 GHz (garantierter Basistakt) bis zu 4,7 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (16 Threads) unterstützen. Die CPU ist der Refresh des Ryzen 7 6800U.
Die Rembrandt Refresh APUs bieten weiterhin Support für USB4 mit 40 Gbps, PCI-E Gen 4 und DDR5-4800MT/s bzw LPDDR5-6400MT/s.
Die CPU Leistung sollte sehr vergleichbar mit dem alten Ryzen 7 6800U bei vergleichbaren TDP Setting sein.
Die integrierte Grafikkarte namens Radeon 680M basiert auf die RDNA 2 Architektur und bietet 12 CUs mit bis zu 2,2 GHz Takt bietet.
Der TDP ist mit 15-28 Watt spezifiziert und damit leicht höher als bei dem R7 6800U (15-25W).
Intel Core i7-12650H
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i7-12650H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 4 der 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 2,3 bis 4,7 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,7 - 3,5 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6700HQ). Im Vergleich zum 12700H bietet der 12650H nur halb so viele E-Kerne und eine schwächere iGPU. Auch vPro wird gar nicht unterstützt.
Performance
Durch die 10 Kerne sollte die Multithread-Leistung oberhalb der alten Tiger-Lake-8-Kerner (bei vergleichbaren Takt, wie der i7-11800H mit bis zu 4,8 GHz) liegen. Bei der Einzelkernperformance dürfte der 12650H auch noch schneller sein, dank der neuen Architektur.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12650H sind nur 64 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,4 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt DDR5-4800, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5-5200 und LPDDR4x-4267. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt nur PCIe 4.0 (x8 for GPU und zwei x4 für SSDs).
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-12650H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (115W PL2). Bei geringer Last, sollte der Stromverbrauch dank der sparsamen Gracemont Kerne sehr gut sein. Gefertigt wird der i7-12650H im modernen Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm).
Intel Core i9-12900H

Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,5 bis 5 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,8 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ). Im Vergleich zum 12900HK bietet der 12900H keinen freien Multiplikator, aber unterstützt das volle "Enterprise" Feature-Set von vPro (Management Features).
Performance
Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i9-11980HK (Tiger Lake-H mit 8 Kernen) kann der 12900H in allen Bereichen punkten. Die neuen Golden Cove Kerne bieten eine leicht höhere Single Thread Performance und dank der gesamt 14 Kerne können Multi-Thread-Anwendungen deutlich beschleunigt werden. Intel gibt z.b. bei Spielen eine 13% höhere Performance an (1080p high) und bei Blender Rendering 30% weniger Renderzeit (BMW Car Demo).
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12900H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,45 GHz.
