AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS ► remove from comparison Der AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS ist ein Mobilprozessor für große Notebooks (z. B. Gaming Laptops) basierend auf die Rembrandt R (Refresh) Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 3+ Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) welche mit 3,2 GHz (garantierter Basistakt) bis zu 4,75 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (16 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im 6 nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und wurde Anfang 2023 vorgestellt. Im Vergleich zum älteren Ryzen 7 6800HS bietet der 7735HS einen 50 MHz höheren Turbo Takt und einen potenziell höheren TDP bis 54 Watt.
Die Rembrandt Refresh APUs bieten weiterhin Support für USB4 mit 40 Gbps, PCI-E Gen 4 und DDR5-4800MT/s bzw. LPDDR5-6400MT/s.
Die Leistung des R7 7735HS sollte vergleichbar zum alten Ryzen 7 6800HS bzw. 6800H (je nach eingesetztem TDP) sein.
Die integrierte Grafikkarte namens Radeon 680M basiert auf die RDNA 2 Architektur und bietet 12 CUs mit bis zu 2,2 GHz Takt bietet.
Der TDP ist mit 35 bis 54 Watt spezifiziert, wodurch sich die CPU auch für dünnere Gaming-Notebooks eignet.
AMD Ryzen 7 5700X ► remove from comparison Der AMD Ryzen 7 5700X ist ein Desktop-Prozessor mit 8-Kernen und Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT), weshalb dieser 16 Threads gleichzeitig verarbeiten kann. Im April 2022 hat AMD mit dem Ryzen 7 5700X einen neuen 8-Kern-Prozessor vorgestellt, welcher in der Basis dem AMD Ryzen 7 5800X sehr ähnelt. Aufgrund der geringeren TDP muss man jedoch mit keinen Einschränkungen bei der Taktfrequenz leben. Dennoch erreicht der AMD Ryzen 7 5700X im Boost bis zu 4,6 GHz, was nur 100 MHz weniger ist, als beim AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. Der Basistakt sinkt jedoch deutlicher auf nunmehr 3,4 GHz.
Die Leistung des AMD Ryzen 7 5700X ist durchweg bei allen Anwendungen hervorragend. Vor allem bei Multi-Thread-Anwendungen kann der native 8-Kerner seine Stärken voll ausspielen, wenngleich auch die Single-Core-Performance gegenüber der älteren Zen-2-Architektur deutlich verbessert werden konnte.
Der interne Aufbau des Prozessors gleicht dem AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. Weiterhin werden die CCX-Module über den I/O-Die miteinander verbunden, welchen wir auch schon von Zen2 her kennen. Die Infinity-Fabric soll laut AMD aber nun Taktraten von bis zu 2GHz erreichen, was im Umkehrschluss einen RAM-Takt von 4.000 MHz ohne Performanceverlust ermöglicht.
Bei den Fertigungsverfahren setzt AMD auch bei den Vermeer-Prozessoren auf TSCM für die 7nm-Fertigung der CPU-Kerne, wenngleich der I/O-Die weiterhin in 12 nm von Gobalfoundries geliefert wird.
Beim Spielen kann der AMD Ryzen 7 5700X dank der deutlich verbesserten IPC gegenüber Zen2 überzeugen. Bei der Leistungsaufnahme kann der AMD Ryzen 7 5700X mit seiner geringen TDP von nur 65 Watt überzeugen. Somit kann der Prozessor auch problemlos mit einem kompakten Luftkühler betrieben werden. Der AMD Ryzen 7 5800X wird dazu mit einer TDP von 105 Watt betrieben.
