Der AMD Ryzen 7 7730U ist ein Mobilprozessor für kleine und leichte Notebooks basierend auf die Cezanne Serie. Er ist Teil des zweiten Barcelo-Refresh Anfang 2023. Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 3 Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) welche von 2 bis zu 4,5 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (16 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird in 7nm bei TSMC gefertigt. Die CPU ist identisch zum älteren Ryzen 7 5825U aus 2022.
Die Leistung ist identisch zum älteren Ryzen 7 5825U und damit hinter dem Ryzen 7 6800U mit bis zu 4,7 GHz und deutlich schnellerer iGPU.
Der SoC integriert neben den acht Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 8 Grafikkarte mit 8 CUs und bis zu 2000 MHz Takt (bzw. 1900 MHz im Geekbench Leak), einen Dual-Channel DDR4 Speicherkontroller (DDR4-3200, LPDDR4-4266) und 16 MB Level 3 Cache.
Der TDP ist mit 15 Watt spezifiziert, wodurch sich die APU auch für leichte Notebooks eignet.
Intel Core i5-1240P ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i5-1240P ist eine Mid-Range Notebook-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet 4 der 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und alle 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 1,7 bis 4,4 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,2 - 3,3 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ ). Im Vergleich zum Core i5-1250P , bietet der i5-1240P eine geringer getaktete iGPU (-100 MHz) und nur "Essentials" vPro Management Features.
Performance
Durch die 12 Kerne sollte die Multithread-Leistung deutlich oberhalb der alten 28 Watt 4-Kerner der Tiger Lake Serie liegen (wie z.B. dem i5-1145G7 ). Im Vergleich zu der H-Serie wird bei längerer Last aber der TDP die Leistung limitieren. Bei der Einzelkernperformance sollte der i5-1240P dank der neuen Architektur auch ähnlich schnelle Tiger Lake CPUs abhängen können.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 1250P sind 80 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,3 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt DDR5-4800, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5-5200 und LPDDR4x-4267. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt nur PCIe 4.0 (x8 for GPU und zwei x4 für SSDs).
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i5-1240P ist mit 28 Watt TDP und 64 Watt (PL2) max. Turbo Power angegeben. Gefertigt wird der Prozessor im modernen Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm).
