Der AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 2500U ist ein Mobilprozessor für schlanke Notebooks. Technisch ist er identisch zum Consumer Ryzen 5 2500U , jedoch bietet er zusätzliche Sicherheitsfunktionen und längere Garantiezeiten / Verfügbarkeit. Der SoC beinhaltet 4 Zen Kerne (Quad-Core CPU) die von 2 - 3,6 GHz getaktet werden. Der TDP ist konfigurierbar zwischen 12 und 25 Watt (15 Watt nominell) und daher eignet sich die APU auch für schlanke und leichte Notebooks. Der L3-Cache beträgt beim 2500U 4 MB. Weiters ist eine Radeon RX Vega 8 getaufte Grafikkarte mit 8 CUs (512 Shader) integriert. Der integrierte Speichercontroller unterstützt maximal Dual-Channel DDR4-2400.

Intel Core i7-11390H ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i7-11390H ist ein Quad-Core-Prozessor für dünne Gaming-Notebooks und Workstations. Er basiert auf die Tiger-Lake-Architektur (H35) und wird im Q3 2021 als Refresh präsentiert. Der Chip kann von 28 bis 35 Watt (TDP) konfiguriert werden und bietet einen Basistakt von 2,9 (28 W) bis 3,4 GHz (garantierter Minimumtakt unter Last). Bis zu zwei Kerne können per Turbo Boost 3.0 auf 5 GHz takten und alle vier mit 4,6 GHz. Der L3-Cache beträgt wie beim i7-11375H die vollen 12 MB.
Im Vergleich zum ehemaligen H35 Topmodell, kann der 11390H nun auch mit 2 Kernen bis 5 GHz takten und hat einen um 300 MHz höheren All-Core-Turbo. Auch die GPU taktet um 50 MHz höher. Dadurch sollte die Leistung knapp oberhalb des i7-11375H liegen. Nur bei Einzelkernlast sollte er keine höhere Performance bieten. Der nächst-schnellere Core i7-10750H bietet bereits 6 Kerne.
Die integrierte Intel Xe Grafikkarte (Gen 12) bietet alle 96 Kerne und taktet mit 400 - 1400 MHz.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6/6e) und Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 im Chip teilintegriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.
Der i7-11390H wird im verbesserten 10nm Verfahren (10nm SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt. Dieser ist in etwas vergleichbar mit dem 7nm Prozess bei TSMC.
