Der SoC beinhaltet sechs Zen 3 Kerne (Hexa-Core CPU) welche von 2 bis zu 4,5 GHz getaktet werden (Einzelkern Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (12 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im 7nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und wurde Anfang 2023 vorgestellt.
Die Performance sollte nur etwas oberhalb des alten Ryzen 5 5625U liegen (wahrscheinlich hauptsächlich bei der Einzelkernperformance) und unterhalb des Ryzen 5 6600U .
Der SoC integriert neben den sechs Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 7 Grafikkarte mit 7 CUs (nun nur noch Radeon Graphics genannt) und bis zu 2000 MHz Takt, einen Dual-Channel DDR4 (DDR4-3200, LPDDR4-4266) Speicherkontroller und 16 MB Level 3 Cache.
Der TDP ist mit 15 Watt spezifiziert, wodurch sich die APU auch für leichte Notebooks eignet.

Der Chip wird im modernen 7 nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und soll Anfang 2021 vorgestellt werden.
Die neue Zen 3 Microarchitektur bringt im Desktop laut AMD eine um 19 % höhere IPC (Instructions per Clock) Performance. In Anwendungs-Tests bei gleichem Takt waren es meist gegen 12 %, bei Spielen noch deutlich mehr.
Der SoC integriert neben den sechs Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 7 Grafikkarte mit 6 CUs und bis zu 1800 MHz Takt, einen Dual-Channel DDR4 Speicherkontroller und 16 MB Level 3 Cache.
Der TDP ist weiterhin von 35 - 54 Watt konfigurierbar (45 Watt Standard).

Die Leistung ist identisch zum älteren Ryzen 7 5825U und damit hinter dem Ryzen 7 6800U mit bis zu 4,7 GHz und deutlich schnellerer iGPU.
Der SoC integriert neben den acht Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 8 Grafikkarte mit 8 CUs und bis zu 2000 MHz Takt (bzw. 1900 MHz im Geekbench Leak), einen Dual-Channel DDR4 Speicherkontroller (DDR4-3200, LPDDR4-4266) und 16 MB Level 3 Cache.
