AMD Ryzen 5 5625U ► remove from comparison Der AMD Ryzen 5 5625U ist ein Mobilprozessor für kleine und leichte Notebooks basierend auf die Cezanne Generation. Der 5625U ist Teil des "Barcelo" Refresh Anfang 2022 und bietet einen 100 MHz höheren Turbo Takt im Vergleich zum R5 5600U . Der SoC beinhaltet sechs Zen 3 Kerne (Hexa-Core CPU) welche mit bis zu 4,3 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (12 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 7nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und wurde Anfang 2021 vorgestellt.
Die Performance sollte nur leicht oberhalb des alten Ryzen 5 5600U liegen und deutlich unterhalb des neuen Ryzen 5 6600U .
Der SoC integriert neben den sechs Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 7 Grafikkarte mit 7 CUs und bis zu 1800 MHz Takt (Pressemeldung spricht von 1600 MHz), einen Dual-Channel DDR4 (DDR4-3200, LPDDR4-4266) Speicherkontroller und 16 MB Level 3 Cache.
Der TDP ist weiterhin von 10 - 25 Watt konfigurierbar (15 Watt Default, in den meisten Notebooks aber 25 Watt). Daher ist der Chip auch für kleine und leichte Notebooks geeignet.
Intel Core i3-N305 ► remove from comparison Der Intel Core i3-N305 ist eine Notebook-CPU der Einstiegsklasse der Alder Lake-N Serie. Er wurde im Januar 2023 vorgestellt und bietet 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur) mit bis zu 3,8 GHz (3 GHz Multi-Core-Turbo). Die E-Kerne unterstützen kein HyperThreading und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ ). Der i3 bietet keinerlei vPro Management Features.
Performance
Die Performance des i3 ist stark abhängig von der Kühlung und den TDP Settings. Wenn alle 8 Kerne ausgelastet werden, sollte er eine gute Multi-Thread-Performance bieten (deutlich oberhalb der alten Quad-Core CPUs wie ein i5-8260U. Die Einzelkernperformance ist aber aufgrund der fehlenden P-Kerne in Alder Lake-N eingeschränkt.
Grafikeinheit
Alder Lake-N integriert eine Xe basierende Grafikeinheit mit bis zu 32 EUs (Execution Units). Diese sind alle im i3-N305 aktiviert und takten bis 1,25 GHz. Durch die geringe Kernanzahl und die Einschränkung auf Single-Channel-RAM, ist die Spieleleistung aber deutlich eingeschränkt.

Theoretisch sollte sich die Performance etwas unterhalb eines alten Core i5-8250U befinden (4 Kerne mit Hyperthreading, max 3,4 GHz, 15W).
