Der AMD Ryzen 5 5600H ist ein Mobilprozessor für große Notebooks (z. B. Gaming Laptops) basierend auf die Cezanne Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet sechs Zen 3 Kerne (Hexa-Core CPU) welche mit bis zu 4,2 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (12 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 7 nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und soll Anfang 2021 vorgestellt werden.
Die neue Zen 3 Microarchitektur bringt im Desktop laut AMD eine um 19 % höhere IPC (Instructions per Clock) Performance. In Anwendungs-Tests bei gleichem Takt waren es meist gegen 12 %, bei Spielen noch deutlich mehr.
Der SoC integriert neben den sechs Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 7 Grafikkarte mit 6 CUs und bis zu 1800 MHz Takt, einen Dual-Channel DDR4 Speicherkontroller und 16 MB Level 3 Cache.
Der TDP ist weiterhin von 35 - 54 Watt konfigurierbar (45 Watt Standard).
Intel Core i5-11260H ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i5-11260H ist ein Hexa-Core-Prozessor für Gaming-Notebooks und Workstations. Er basiert auf die Tiger-Lake-Architektur (H45) und wurde im 2. Quartal 2021 präsentiert. Der Chip bietet einen TDP von 45 Watt (konfigurierbar auf 35 W). Die sechs Prozessorkerne können von 2,6 bis 4,4 GHz (Einzel- und Zweikern-Turbo) takten. Alle Kerne gemeinsam können maximal 4 GHz erreichen. Der Prozessor bietet 12 MB Level 3 Cache und unterstützt DDR4-3200 Speicher. Die integrierte Grafik basiert auf die Xe-Architektur und ist UHD Graphics benannt. Im 11260H taktet sie von 350 - 1400 MHz und damit 50 MHz geringer als bei den stärkeren Modellen. Der Chip wird im neuen 10nm SuperFin Prozess gefertigt.
Dank der neuen Tiger Lake Architektur sollte die Leistung vergleichbar mit dem hoch getakteten 6-Kerner Intel Core i7-10850H (Comet Lake-H, 6 Kerne, 2,7 - 5,1 GHz, 16 MB L3) liegen und auch mit dem Ryzen 5 5600H (6 Kerne, 2,4 - 3,3 GHz, 16 MB L3) mithalten können.
Wie bei den kleineren Tiger-Lake-Chips wird auch hier WLAN (Wifi 6E) und Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks. Weiters bietet der i5-11400H 20 PCIe 4.0 Lanes.
Der TDP ist bei 2,6 GHz Basistakt mit 45 Watt spezifiziert und kann auf 35 Watt und dadurch 2,1 GHz verringert werden (cTDP). Dadurch eignet sich die CPU am besten für große und schwere Notebooks.
Intel Core i9-11950H ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i9-11950H ist ein Octa-Core-Prozessor für Business-Notebooks und Workstations. Er basiert auf die Tiger-Lake-Architektur (H45) und wurde im 2. Quartal 2021 präsentiert. Der Chip bietet einen TDP von 45 Watt (auf 35W konfigurierbar). Die Prozessorkerne können von 2,6 bis 5 GHz (Einzel und Zweikern-Turbo, ITBM 3.0) takten. Alle Kerne gemeinsam können maximal 4,5 GHz erreichen. Der Prozessor bietet 24 MB Level 3 Cache und unterstützt DDR4-3200 Speicher. Die integrierte Grafik basiert auf die Xe-Architektur und ist UHD Graphics benannt (mit 32 EUs). Im 11980HK taktet sie von 350 - 1450 MHz. Der Chip wird im neuen 10nm SuperFin Prozess gefertigt. Der i9-11950H ist die Business-Variante des i9-11980HK mit Management-/Businessfeatures SIPP, vPro und TXT aber ohne Übertaktungsmöglichkeiten. Der Xeon W-11955M kann zusätzlich noch ECC-Speicher ansprechen.
Dank der neuen Tiger Lake Architektur sollte die Leistung deutlich oberhalb des Vorgängers, dem Intel Core i9-10980HK (Comet Lake-H, 2,4 - 5,3 GHz, 16 MB L3) liegen (Einzel- und Mehrkernperformance). Damit sollte die Performance vergleichbar sein mit einem aktuellem Ryzen 9 5980HX (Zen 3, 3,3 - 4,8 GHz, 16 MB L3) und damit ist der i9 einer der schnellsten Prozessoren die in Notebooks verbaut werden.
