Der AMD Ryzen 5 4600U ist ein Mobilprozessor für kleine und leichte Notebooks basierend auf die Renoir Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet sechs Zen 2 Kerne (Hexa-Core CPU) (mit SMT/Hyperthreading = 12 Threads) welche mit bis zu 4 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo). Der Chip wird im modernen 7nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und soll laut AMD eine 2x verbesserte Performance pro Watt bieten als die Ryzen 3000 APUs (z.B. den Ryzen 5 3500U Vorgänger).
Im Vergleich zum schnelleren Ryzen 7 4800U , bietet der Ryzen 5 4600U zwei Kerne weniger und einen 200 MHz geringeren Boost-Takt, jedoch einen höheren Basistakt. Die Leistung sollte durch die zusätzlichen Kerne und hohe Taktfrequenzen aber deutlich oberhalb des alten Spitzenmodells Ryzen 7 3700U liegen.
Der SoC integriert neben den sechs Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 6 Grafikkarte mit 6 CUs und bis zu 1500 MHz Takt, einen Dual-Channel DDR4-3200 / LPDDR4-4266 Speicherkontroller und 8 MB Level 3 Cache. Der TDP ist laut AMD von 10 - 25 Watt konfigurierbar (15 Watt Default). Daher ist der Chip auch für kleine und leichte Notebooks geeignet.
Intel Core i5-13500H ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i5-13500H ist eine Mittelklasse-CPU der Raptor Lake-H Serie (Alder-Lake-Architektur), die im Januar 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU bietet alle 4 der 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und alle 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 2,6 bis 4,7 GHz (Einzelkern-Boost, Mehrkern maximal 4,6 GHz). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,9 - 3,5 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ ). Im Vergleich zum älteren Core i5-12500H , bietet der 13500H höhere Taktraten (z.B. +200 MHz Boost der P-Kerne). Bietet eingeschränkten vPro-Support (Essentials Management Features).
Performance
Durch die höheren Taktung kann sich der i5-13500H etwas vom alten Core i5-12600H absetzen. Wie für Alder Lake üblich, ist die Leistung aber stark von der Kühlung und den TDP Settings abhängig.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 13500H sind nur 80 der 96 EUs aktiviert.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt nun DDR5-5200 (12500H nur 4800 MHz). Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist weiterhin in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt PCIe 5.0 x8 für eine dGPU und zwei PCIe 4.0 x4 für SSDs. Der PCH bietet noch PCIe Gen3 x12.
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i5-13500H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (95W PL2). Gefertigt wird der i5 im weiter verbesserten Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm), wodurch die höheren Taktraten bei Raptor Lake-H möglich wurden.

Der Intel Core i9-13900H ist eine High-End-CPU der Raptor-Lake-H Serie (RPL-H). Im Unterschied zu RPL-HX, ist die H-Serie sehr ähnlich zu den alten Alder-Lake-Prozessoren. Die CPU bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove oder Raptor Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,6 bis 5,4 GHz (Einzelkernturbo, 4,9 GHz für alle Kerne). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,9 - 4,1 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ ).
Im Unterschied zum i9-13900HK , bietet der 13900H alle Features von vPro aber keine einfache Übertaktbarkeit.
Performance
Durch die höheren Tatkraten, kann der Core i9-13900H den älteren Core i9-12900H leicht abhängen und ist damit gemeinsam mit dem 13900HK die schnellste 45 Watt CPU von Intel. Bei ausreichender Kühlung, ist die CPU für alle Anwendungsbereiche hervorragend geeignet. Vor dem 13900H positionieren sich jedoch die HX-Modelle wie der i9-13980HX mit mehr E-Kernen und verbesserten P-Kernen.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12900H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert.
