Der SoC beinhaltet sechs Zen 2 Kerne (Hexa-Core CPU) welche mit bis zu 4 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (12 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 7nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und soll laut AMD eine 2x verbesserte Performance pro Watt bieten als die Ryzen 3000 APUs (z.B. den Ryzen 5 3550H Vorgänger).
Durch die zwei deaktivierten Kerne und dem geringeren Turbo-Takt, sollte der Ryzen 5 4600H deutlich hinter dem Ryzen 7 4800H zurückbleiben. Das alte Spitzenmodell Ryzen 7 3750H sollte aber deutlich abgehängt werden. Verglichen mit Intel Prozessoren, gehen wir mit einer ähnlichen Performance wie der Core i7-8850H (6-Kerne, 2,6 - 4,3 GHz) aus.
Der SoC integriert neben den acht Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 6 Grafikkarte mit 6 CUs und bis zu 1500 MHz Takt, einen Dual-Channel DDR4-3200 / LPDDR4-4266 Speicherkontroller und 8 MB Level 3 Cache. Der TDP ist laut AMD von 35 - 54 Watt konfigurierbar (45 Watt Default). Daher ist der Chip für große und schwere Notebooks vorgesehen und benötigt, trotz des effizienten 7nm Herstellungsprozesses, eine gute Kühlung um die Leistung auch dauerhaft zu erbringen.

Der SoC beinhaltet sechs Zen 3+ Kerne (Hexa-Core CPU) welche mit 3,3 GHz (garantierter Basistakt) bis zu 4,55 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (12 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 6nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und wurde Anfang 2023 vorgestellt. Im Vergleich zum älteren Ryzen 5 6600HS , bietet der 7535HS einen 50 MHz höheren Boost-Takt und kann auf bis zu 54 Watt TDP konfiguriert werden.
Die Rembrandt APUs bieten einige aktuelle Features, wie Support für USB4 mit 40 Gbps, PCI-E Gen 4 und DDR5-4800MT/s bzw LPDDR5-6400MT/s.
Die Leistung ist je nach eingesetztem TDP vergleichbar mit dem Ryzen 5 6600HS (35 Watt TDP) bzw. Ryzen 5 6600H (55 Watt TDP) .
Der Ryzen 5 7535HS integriert nur die kleine Radeon 660M mit 6 der 12 CUs und 1,9 GHz Takt welche noch auf die ältere RDNA2 Architektur basiert.
Der TDP ist mit 35 - 54 Watt spezifiziert, wodurch sich die CPU auch für dünnere (Gaming-)Notebooks eignet.
