Der AMD Ryzen 5 4500U ist ein Mobilprozessor für kleine und leichte Notebooks basierend auf die Renoir Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet sechs Zen 2 Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) (ohne SMT/Hyperthreading = 6 Threads) welche mit bis zu 4 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo). Der Chip wird im modernen 7nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und soll laut AMD eine 2x verbesserte Performance pro Watt bieten als die Ryzen 3000 APUs (z.B. den Ryzen 5 3500U Vorgänger).
Im Vergleich zum minimal schnelleren Ryzen 5 4600U, bietet der 4500U kein SMT / Hyperthreading aber einen höheren Basistakt. Dadurch sollte die Prozessor-Performance sehr ähnlich ausfallen.
Der SoC integriert neben den sechs Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 6 Grafikkarte mit 6 CUs und bis zu 1500 MHz Takt, einen Dual-Channel DDR4-3200 / LPDDR4-4266 Speicherkontroller und 8 MB Level 3 Cache. Der TDP ist laut AMD von 10 - 25 Watt konfigurierbar (15 Watt Default). Daher ist der Chip auch für kleine und leichte Notebooks geeignet.
Intel Core i7-13620H ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i7-13620H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der Raptor Lake-H Serie (Alder-Lake-Architektur), die im Januar 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 4 der 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 2,4 bis 4,9 GHz (Einzelkern-Turbo, alle Kerne bis 4,7 GHz). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,5 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6700HQ ). Im Vergleich zum 13700H bietet der 13620H nur halb so viele E-Kerne und wahrscheinlich eine schwächere iGPU.
Performance
Durch die höhere Taktung, sollte sich der i7-13620H etwas vom alten Core i7-12650H abheben können, bleibt aber hinter den 14-Kern-Modellen zurück (wie z.B. Core i7-13700H ).
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 13620H sind nur 64 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,5 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt jetzt DDR5-5200 (im Vergleich zur 4800 MHz beim 12650H). Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt PCIe 5.0 x8 für eine dGPU und zwei PCIe 4.0 x4 für SSDs. Der PCH bietet noch PCIe Gen3 x12.
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-13620H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (115W PL2). Gefertigt wird der i7 im weiter verbesserten Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm SuperFin).

Der Intel Core i7-13705H ist eine High-End-CPU der Raptor-Lake-H Serie (RPL-H). Im Unterschied zu RPL-HX, ist die H-Serie sehr ähnlich zu den alten Alder-Lake-Prozessoren. Die CPU bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove oder Raptor Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,4 bis 5 GHz (Einzelkernturbo, 4,7 GHz für alle Kerne). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,7 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ ). Ähnlich zum i7-13700H jedoch ohne vPro-Support und mit anderem Package und Socket.
Performance
Durch die höheren Taktraten der Rocket-Lake-Serie, kann der i8-13705H sich auf das Niveau des alten Core i9-12900H heben und gehört damit zu einer sehr schnellen mobilen CPU, die sich für alle Anwendungsbereiche hervorragend geeignet. Die Leistung sollte identisch zum i7-13700H sein.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 13705H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,5 GHz.
