Der AMD Ryzen 5 3450U ist ein Mobilprozessor für schlanke Notebooks. Der SoC beinhaltet 4 Zen+ Kerne (Quad-Core CPU) mit einer Taktrate von 2,1 (Basistakt) bis 3,5 (maximaler Boost eines einzelnen Kernes). Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger Ryzen 5 2500U wurde der Herstellungsprozess leicht verbessert (14 auf 12nm) welcher höhere Taktraten bei gleichem Stromverbrauch erlaubt. Weiters wurden minimale Verbesserungen bei der Microarchitektur vorgenommen (etwa 3% höhere IPC, Leistung pro Takt). Dadurch soll die neue Generation 8% schneller sein als die Vorgängermodelle (laut AMD).
Die integrierte Radeon RX Vega 8 bietet 8 CUs (512 Shader) mit bis zu 1200 MHz.

Der AMD Ryzen 5 7600X ist ein der aktuelle schnellste Ryzen 5 Desktop Prozessor und gehört zur aktuellen Raphael-Serie. Der Ryzen 5 7600X besitzt 6 Kerne und bietet dank SMT insgesamt 12 Threads.
Der Ryzen 5 7600X taktet mit 4,7 GHz Basistakt und erreicht im Turbo bis zu 5,3 GHz auf einem Kern.
Die Leistung des AMD Ryzen 5 7600X ist durchweg bei allen Anwendungen hervorragend und deutlich besser als beim AMD Ryzen 5 5600X . AMD konnte vor allem die Single-Thread-Performance aufgrund der neuen, kleineren Fertigung durch höhere Taktraten und der höheren TDP deutlich steigern. Dadurch kann der AMD Ryzen 5 7600X mit einem Intel Core i5-12600K mithalten.
Die neuen Zen4-Prozessoren werden alle im 4 nm-Verfahren gefertigt, was die hohen Taktfrequenzen ermöglicht. Den Chiplet-Aufbau gibt es weiterhin, was bedeutet, dass unter dem Heatspreader zusätzlich der I/O-Die seinen Platz hat. Dieser wird hingegen nicht mehr in 12 nm produziert, sondern im kleineren 6 nm Verfahren. Zudem gibt es eine kleine iGPU welche jedoch nur für die 2D-Darstellung geeignet ist.
