AMD Ryzen 3 2200U ► remove from comparison Der AMD Ryzen 3 2200U ist ein Mobilprozessor für schlanke Notebooks. Der SoC beinhaltet zwei Zen Kerne (Dual-Core CPU, mit SMT daher 4 Threads gleichzeitig) die von 2,5 - 3,4 GHz getaktet werden. Der TDP ist konfigurierbar zwischen 12 und 25 Watt (15 Watt nominell) und daher eignet sich die APU auch für schlanke und leichte Notebooks. Der L3-Cache beträgt beim 2200U 4 MB. Weiters ist eine Radeon RX Vega 3 getaufte Grafikkarte mit 3 CUs (192 Shader mit maximal 1000 MHz) integriert. Der integrierte Speichercontroller unterstützt maximal Dual-Channel DDR4-2400.

Intel Core i5-12450H ► remove from comparison Der Intel Core i5-12450H ist eine Mid-Range-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet 4 der 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 4 der 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur) für gesamt 8 Kerne (Octa-Core). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 12 Threads) und takten von 2 bis 4,4 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,5 - 3,3 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ ). Im Vergleich zum i5-12500H bietet der 12450 weniger Effizienzkerne, geringere Taktraten, eine schwächere iGPU und kein vPro.
Performance
Durch die Mischung aus P-Core und E-Cores sollte die Leistung in Multithreaded-Anwendungen vergleichbar sein mit ähnlich getakteten Tiger Lake-H CPUs und oberhalb der Tiger Lake 6-Kerner (wie i5-11500H ) liegen. Bei der Einzelkernperformance dürfte der 12450H auch noch schneller sein, dank der neuen Architektur.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12500H sind nur 48 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,2 GHz.

Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt DDR5-4800, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5-5200 und LPDDR4x-4267. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt nur PCIe 4.0 (x8 for GPU und zwei x4 für SSDs).
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i5-12450H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (95W PL2). Bei geringer Last, sollte der Stromverbrauch dank der sparsamen Gracemont Kerne sehr gut sein. Gefertigt wird der i5-12450H im modernen Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm).
Intel Core i9-12900HK ► remove from comparison Der Intel Core i9-12900HK ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,5 bis 5 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,8 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ ). Die K-Variante bezeichnet den freien Multiplikator, wodurch sich die CPU übertakten lässt. Im Unterschied zum 12900H, bietet der 12900HK nur die "Essentials"-Features von vPro.
Performance
Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i9-11980HK (Tiger Lake-H mit 8 Kernen) kann der 12900HK in allen Bereichen punkten. Die neuen Golden Cove Kerne bieten eine leicht höhere Single Thread Performance und dank der gesamt 14 Kerne können Multi-Thread-Anwendungen deutlich beschleunigt werden. Intel gibt z.b. bei Spielen eine durchschnittlich 13% höhere Performance an und bei Blender Rendering 30% weniger Renderzeit (BMW Car Demo). In unseren Tests ist die Performance stark abhängig von den TDP Settings und der Kühlung und kann sich im Schnitt etwas vom Ryzen 9 6900HX absetzen (+11% zur Zeit des Schreibens, siehe Vergleich ).
Grafikeinheit
