Die Nvidia Quadro P520 ist eine mobile Workstation-Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie basiert auf einen Pascal Chip mit 64 Bit Speicherbus und ist daher wahrscheinlich ähnlich zur Consumer GeForce MX150 (384 Shader, 64-Bit GDDR5). Die Taktraten der professionellen Varianten unterscheiden sich jedoch zur Consumer Version, die P520 ist deutlich niedriger getaktet. Im Vergleich zur alten Quadro P500 , bietet die P520 nun deutlich mehr Shader (+128) bei leicht reduziertem Kerntakt. Laut Nvidia erhöht sich die theortische Leistung um 60% von 0,75 auf 1,2 TFLOPs. Die ältere Quadro P600 bietet ebenfalls 384 Shader, jedoch bei einem etwas geringerem Takt. Die Leistung bei professionellen Anwendungen sollte sich daher zwischen den alten Quadro P500 und P600 einpendeln (eher bei der P600).
Die Quadro-Grafikkarten bieten zertifizierte Treiber , welche auf Stabiltität und Performance bei professionellen Anwendungen (CAD-, DCC-, Medizin-, Prospektions-, Visualisierungsanwendungen) optimiert sind. Dadurch ist die Performance im Vergleich zu den Consumergrafikkarten mit gleichem Chip in diesen Bereichen deutlich besser.
NVIDIA GeForce MX110 ► remove from comparison
Die NVIDIA GeForce MX110 ist eine DirectX-12-Grafikkarte der Einstiegsklasse welche gegen Ende 2017 vorgestellt wurde. Sie ist praktisch identisch (minimale Änderungen) zur älteren GeForce 920MX und basiert daher ebenfalls auf die Maxwell Architektur.
Die Leistung sollte identisch zur Geforce 920MX sein (siehe für Benchmarks) und dadurch nur für anspruchslose Spiele ausreichend. Je nach eingesetztem Speichertyp (schneller GDDR5 Grafikspeicher oder langsamer DDR3) kann es jedoch auch messbare Unterschiede geben. Anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen daher entweder gar nicht flüssig oder nur in minimalen Settings und Auflösungen (siehe GeForce 920M Seite mit Spielebenchmarks ). Anspruchslosere Spiele wie Sims 4 sollten auch mit mittlerer - hoher Detailstufe flüssig spielbar sein.
Durch den relativ geringen Stromverbrauch von 5-12 Watt (TDP) eignet sich die GPU auch für kleine und schlanke Notebooks.
