OnePlus verteilt massives Update für seine aktuellen Flaggschiff-Modelle

Nachdem der Hersteller erst vor wenigen Tagen das Support-Ende für das OnePlus 6 sowie das OnePlus 6T verkündet hatte, gibt es nun ein umfangreiches Update für die zwei hierzulande aktuellen Modelle. Wie der Hersteller im eigenen Forum mitteilt, wird aktuell das OxygenOS 12 C.44-Update für die Modelle OnePlus 9 (ab ca. 650 Euro bei Amazon) und OnePlus 9 Pro (ab ca. 775 Euro bei Amazon) ausgerollt.

Die beiden Smartphones hatten erste Ende vergangenen Jahres die Aktualisierung auf OxygenOS 12 basierend auf Android 12 erhalten. Dieses brachte neben einem neuen Design unter anderem auch den verbesserten Schutz der Privatsphäre. Nun folgt bereits die nächste Aktualisierung für die Anfang 2021 hierzulande erschienenen Flaggschiff-Modelle mit Hasselblad-Kamera. Der kürzlich enthüllte Nachfolger OnePlus 10 Pro ist bekanntermaßen derzeit nur in China erhältlich und soll bald nach Europa kommen.

Das neue OTA-Update startete heute für die ersten User und soll dann in den kommenden Tagen breiter verteilt werden. Es bringt eine ganze Reihe von neuen Funktionen und Verbesserungen mit, von denen einige exklusiv in Europa zur Verfügung stehen. Natürlich fehlen auch die üblichen Bugfixes nicht.

Wie aus dem Changelog (siehe unten) hervorgeht, wurde unter anderem der Dark Mode ergänzt. Dieser kann nun in drei verschiedenen Stufen eingestellt werden. Das Work-Life-Balance-Feature steht nun für alle Nutzer zur Verfügung und zudem kann die Gallery-App nun per Zwei-Finger-Geste zwischen verschiedenen Layouts hin- und hergeschaltet werden. Dazu gibt es eine ganze Reihe weiterer Neuerungen und Verbesserungen, unter anderem für die Kamera und das System im Allgemeinen.
