Nvidia Shield TV und Shield TV Pro erhalten neues Update auf Version 9.0.2
Nvidia hat ein neues Update für seine beliebten Streaming-Lösungen Shield TV (ca. 140 Euro bei Amazon) und Shield TV Pro (ca. 200 Euro bei Amazon) veröffentlicht. Das Shield Experience Upgrade v9.0.2 (33.1.0.319) basiert auf dem Experience Upgrade 9.0 von Anfang des Jahres und bringt eine ganze Reihe von Fehlerbehebungen und Optimierungen mit sich.
Großartige Neuerungen bietet das heute veröffentlichte Firmware-Update nicht. Für die EU wurde die Plex-Unterstützung für den neuesten Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD DVB-T-Tuner hinzugefügt. Ansonsten geht es vor allem vielen kleineren Bugs an den Kragen, wie ein Blick auf den umfangreichen Changelog (siehe unten) zeigt.
Unter anderem wurden ein Hochskalierungs-Problem der Netflix-App, Fehler bei der Wiedergabe von Dolby Vision-Inhalten an Philips-Fernsehern sowie Audio-Stotter-Probleme bei Bluetooth- oder USB-Headsets behoben. Ebenfalls beseitigt sind nach der Aktualisierung ein Fehler, bei dem der Surround-Upmixer nach dem Abspielen von Dolby-Audiostreams nicht mehr funktionierte, und ein Problem, bei dem beim Starten von Apps eine SD-Karten-Benachrichtigung angezeigt wurde. Dazu gibt es neben vielen weiteren Bugfixes auch ein paar Optimierungen wie eine verbesserte Geschwindigkeit bei der Übertragung von Dateien.
