► remove from comparisonDie NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU (Codename GN21-X6) ist eine High-End-Notebookgrafikkarte die Anfang 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Sie basiert nach ersten Gerüchten auf den AD106 Chip (Ada Lovelace Architektur) und bietet 4.608 Shader und einen 128 Bit Speicherbus mit 8 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher und einer Taktung von effektiv 16 Gbps. Der TGP (Stromverbrauch kann von 35 bis 115 Watt rangieren (im Vergleich zu den 285 Watt der Desktop RTX 4070 Ti) plus zusätzlich etwa 10-25 Watt Dynamic Boost (von der CPU). Die Leistung sollte dementsprechend deutlich unterhalb einer Desktop RTX 4070 Ti liegen, aber die alte RTX 3070 Laptop GPU deutlich schlagen. Der maximale Boost-Takt ist abhängig vom verwendeten TGP und rangiert von 1230 MHz (35 Watt) bis 2175 MHz (115 Watt). Dadurch ist auch die Performance sehr abhängig vom TGP Setting.
In synthetischen Benchmarks kann sich die durchschnittliche RTX 4070 knapp hinter eine alte RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU in unseren Tests setzen. Hier kann es aber deutliche Abweichungen nach unten geben, für die Modelle mit geringen Power-Limits (z.B. nur 70% der Time Spy Scores für ein 60W Modell). In Spielen reicht die Leistung einer schnellen RTX 4070 bei anspruchsvollen Titeln nur für Full HD um über 60 fps zu erreichen. Weniger anspruchsvolle Titel (wie Baldur's Gate 3) oder mit dem Einsatz von DLSS ist aber meist auch in QHD flüssig spielbar (siehe Benchmarks weiter unten).
Die RTX 4070 bietet 144 Tensor-Kerne der 4. Generation die für DLSS 3 inklusive Frame Generation genutzt werden können. Weiters sind noch 36 Raytracing Kerne der 3. Generation verbaut.
Der AD106 Chip wird im 5nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt (4N).
Intel Arc A770M
► remove from comparisonDie Intel Arc A770M (Device ID 5690) ist eine dedizierte Mittelklasse-Grafikkarte von Intel für Notebooks. Sie basiert auf dem ACM-G10 Chip und bietet alle 32 Xe-Kerne (512 ALUs), 32 Ray-Tracing-Units, 6 MB L1-Cache und 16 MB L2-Cache. Die Taktraten können von 300 MHz über 1650 MHz (Gaming) bis 2050 MHz (Turbo) rangieren. Das Speicherinterface ist 256 Bit breit und unterstützt 16 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher mit 16 Gbps. Der TGP ist zwischen 120 und 150 Watt je nach Modell.
Die Performance der A770M liegt in der oberen Mittelklasse von dedizierten Grafikkarten für Notebooks. Die genauen Leistungsdaten sind noch nicht ganz klar, der Stromverbrauch spielt, aber in der Klasse einer RTX 3070 und daher schätzen wir die Performance etwas darunter ein.
Der ACM-G10 Chip wird bei TSMC in 6 nm gefertigt (N6 Prozess), nutzt ein BGA2660 Interface (aufgelöstet), bietet 21,7 Mrd. Transistoren und ist 406 mm² groß. Er integriert zwei Media Engines für VP9, AVC, HEVC, AV1 8k60 12-Bit HDR Dekodierung und 8k 10-Bit HDR Enkodierung. Die integrierten 4 Display Pipes unterstützen 4x 4k120 HDR, HDMI 2.0B, DP 2.0 10G und Adaptive Sync.
Mittels Deep Link kann mit einer CPU der 12. Generation (Alder Lake) Dynamic Power Share genutzt werden.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU
► remove from comparisonDie NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU (Codename GN21-X9) ist eine High-End-Notebookgrafikkarte die Anfang 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Sie basiert nach ersten Gerüchten auf den selben AD104 Chip (Ada Lovelace Architektur) wie die Desktop RTX 4070 Ti und bietet daher maximal 7.680 Shader und einen 192 Bit Speicherbus mit 12 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher und einer Taktung von effektiv 16 oder 20 Gbps. Der TGP (Stromverbrauch kann von 60 bis 150 Watt rangieren (im Vergleich zu den 285 Watt der Desktop RTX 4070 Ti) plus zusätzlich etwa 15 Watt Dynamic Boost (von der CPU). Die Leistung sollte dementsprechend unterhalb einer Desktop RTX 4070 Ti liegen, aber die alte RTX 3080 Laptop GPU deutlich schlagen.
Die Taktung der GPU ist abhängig vom verwendeten TGP und dadurch Laptop und rangiert von 1350 (Boost bei 60 Watt) bis zu 2280 (150 Watt). Dadurch ist die Geschwindigkeit der mobilen RTX4080 auch stark abhängig vom Notebook (TDP Setting und Kühlung).
In synthetischen Benchmarks kann die durchschnittliche RTX 4080 Laptop GPU in unseren Tests die alte RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU deutlich abhängen und bleibt nur hinter der RTX 4090 zurück. Dadurch sind auch anspruchsvolle Spiele wie F1 23 mit Raytracing in QHD flüssig spielbar. Ohne Raytracing und weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele, können auch in 4k genossen werden.
Die RTX 4080 bietet 232 Tensor-Kerne der 4. Generation die für DLSS 3 inklusive Frame Generation genutzt werden können. Weiters sind noch 58 Raytracing Kerne der 3. Generation verbaut.
Der AD104 Chip wird im 5nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt (4N) und beinhaltet 35.800 Millionen Transistoren bei einer Die-Größe von 379 mm2.
