NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU ► remove from comparison Die NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU (Codename GN21-X4) ist eine High-End-Notebookgrafikkarte die Anfang 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Sie basiert auf den AD107 Chip (Ada Lovelace Architektur) und bietet wahrscheinlich 3.072 Shader und einen 128 Bit Speicherbus mit 8 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher und einer Taktung von effektiv 16 Gbps. Der TGP (Stromverbrauch kann von 35 bis 115 Watt rangieren plus zusätzlich etwa 15-25 Watt Dynamic Boost (von der CPU). Je nach TDP rangiert die maximale Taktrate von 1470 MHz (35 Watt) bis 2370 MHz (115 Watt).
In synthetischen Benchmarks kann sich die durchschnittliche RTX 4060 Laptop GPU zwischen einer RTX 3070 Laptop GPU und 3070 Ti Laptop GPU einordnen. Die Performance kann aber gerade bei geringen TDP-Varianten (z.B. mit nur 45 Watt) deutlich abweichen. In Spielen reicht die Performance meist für maximale Grafiksettings bei 1920x1080 für Frameraten > 60 fps (siehe unten). Weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele wie Baldurs Gate 3 sind auch in QHD flüssig spielbar (bei ausreichendem Power Limit der GPU).
Durch die 80 Tensor-Kerne unterstützt die RTX4060 auch DLSS3 inklusive Frame Generation. Die 20 Raytracing-Kerne werden jedoch nur selten genutzt werden, da die Leistung der RTX 4060 für maximale Details und Raytracing kaum ausreicht bei modernen Spielen.
Der AD107 Chip wird im 5nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt (4N).
Intel Arc A750 ► remove from comparison Die Intel Arc A750 ist eine Mid-Range-Desktop-GPU und wird im 6 nm Verfahren bei TSMC gefertigt. Der Grafikprozessor verfügt über 3.854 Shadereinheiten, sowie über 8 GB GDDR6-VRAM mit einem 256-Bit-Interface (16 Gbps, 512 GB/s). Damit ist die Intel Arc A750 das zweitschnellste Grafikkartenmodell aus dem Hause Intel.
Features
Auf Basis der Alchemist-Architektur bietet Intel mit der Arc A750 das zweitschnellste Modell der Serie an. Im Preisbereich bis 250 Euro will Intel mit seinen Grafikkarten AMD und auch Nvidia unter Druck setzen. Features wie Ray Tracing werden ebenfalls unterstützt und auch Upscaling Features wie XeSS können mit DLSS und FSR konkurrieren. Dafür bietet die Intel Arc A750 448 Tensor Cores, welche wir auch schon bei den aktuellen Grafikkarten von Nvidia vorfinden. Mit der Unterstützung von AV1 ist die Grafikkarte vor allem für Content-Creator interessant. Das hardwareseitige Encodieren und Decodieren mit dem neuen Codec beherrschen aktuell nur die Ada Lovelace Modelle von Nvidia und die RDNA3-GPUs von AMD.
Performance
Die Leistung der Intel Arc A750 ist mit einer AMD Radeon RX 7600 vergleichbar. Mit neueren Spielen kommt das Modell aus dem Haus Intel deutlich besser zurecht. Mit aktivierten Raytracing kann sich die Intel Arc A750 sogar vor der AMD Radeon RX 7600 platzieren. Aufgrund der gezeigten Leistung ist die Intel Arc A750 für das 1080p-Gaming im Jahre 2023 gut geeignet.
Leistungsaufnahme
Die Leistungsaufnahme der Intel Arc A750 wird vom Hersteller mit 225 Watt (TGP) beziffert. Das ist etwas mehr als bei einer Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 oder der AMD Radeon RX 7600 . In puncto Effizienz kann die Intel Arc A750 jedoch nicht überzeugen. Hier muss Intel etwas Nachbessern um mit dem Nachfolger aka "Battlemage" nicht den Anschluss zu verlieren.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU ► remove from comparison Die NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU (Codename GN21-X9) ist eine High-End-Notebookgrafikkarte die Anfang 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Sie basiert nach ersten Gerüchten auf den selben AD104 Chip (Ada Lovelace Architektur) wie die Desktop RTX 4070 Ti und bietet daher maximal 7.680 Shader und einen 192 Bit Speicherbus mit 12 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher und einer Taktung von effektiv 16 oder 20 Gbps. Der TGP (Stromverbrauch kann von 60 bis 150 Watt rangieren (im Vergleich zu den 285 Watt der Desktop RTX 4070 Ti) plus zusätzlich etwa 15 Watt Dynamic Boost (von der CPU). Die Leistung sollte dementsprechend unterhalb einer Desktop RTX 4070 Ti liegen, aber die alte RTX 3080 Laptop GPU deutlich schlagen.
Die Taktung der GPU ist abhängig vom verwendeten TGP und dadurch Laptop und rangiert von 1350 (Boost bei 60 Watt) bis zu 2280 (150 Watt). Dadurch ist die Geschwindigkeit der mobilen RTX4080 auch stark abhängig vom Notebook (TDP Setting und Kühlung).
In synthetischen Benchmarks kann die durchschnittliche RTX 4080 Laptop GPU in unseren Tests die alte RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU deutlich abhängen und bleibt nur hinter der RTX 4090 zurück. Dadurch sind auch anspruchsvolle Spiele wie F1 23 mit Raytracing in QHD flüssig spielbar. Ohne Raytracing und weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele, können auch in 4k genossen werden.
Die RTX 4080 bietet 232 Tensor-Kerne der 4. Generation die für DLSS 3 inklusive Frame Generation genutzt werden können. Weiters sind noch 58 Raytracing Kerne der 3. Generation verbaut.
Der AD104 Chip wird im 5nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt (4N) und beinhaltet 35.800 Millionen Transistoren bei einer Die-Größe von 379 mm2.
