Die ARM Mali-G78MP22 ist eine integrierte High-End-Grafikeinheit für ARM-SoCs, die erstmals Mitte 2021 im Smartphone- und Tablet-Chip HiSilicon Kirin 9000E verbaut wurde (z.B. MatePad Pro 12.6). Die G78MP22 integriert 22 der 24 Kerne/Cluster und nutzt die 2. Generation der Valhall-Architektur. Im Vergleich zur G77 bietet die G78 zwei neue Features: Asynchronous Top Level und Fragment Dependency Tracking.

Die GPU zählt damit zu den schnellsten Grafikkarten für Android-Smartphones und Tablets in 2020 und daher sollten alle aktuellen Spiele flüssig dargestellt werden.

An Grafik-APIs unterstützt die G78 OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.1 und OpenCL 2.0.

Die Qualcomm Adreno 640 ist eine im Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 ARM-SoC integrierte Grafikeinheit für Smartphones und Tablets. Der Chip ist ab Anfang 2019 erhältlich und wird hauptsächlich in Android-basierten High-End Geräten eingesetzt.

Laut Qualcomm bietet die Adreno 640 GPU eine um 20% höhere Performance als die alte Adreno 630 im Snapdragon 845. Dies wird durch 50% mehr FP16 und FP32 ALUs erreicht (Recheneinheiten) bei vergleichbaren Taktraten. Laut Demo ist der Chip bei PUBG (40 fps hohe Details) etwa 20% sparsamer als der Adreno 630 (dank des neuen 7nm Prozesses bei TSMC).

Neu ist auch der Support für Vulkan 1.1, der jedoch auch für die anderen Chips der 600er Serie möglich ist.

Qualcomm Adreno 612

Die Qualcomm Adreno 612 ist eine im Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 verbaute Grafikeinheit für Smartphones und Tablets (hautsächlich Android basiert). Sie ist in der unteren Mittelklasse positioniert. 

Die Adreno 600 Serie unterstützt laut Wikipedia Vulkan 1.0, OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0 Full und DirectX 11_1. Der Chip sollte daher ein abgespeckter Adreno 630 (weniger Shader?) sein.
