Die Intel Xe Graphics G7 (Tiger-Lake mit 80 EUs) ist eine Prozessorgrafikkarte, die im späteren Verlauf von 2020 vorgestellt wird. Sie basiert auf die neue Xe Architektur (Gen12) und soll eine Leistung auf dem Niveau einer GeForce MX330 bieten. Laut ersten Leaks soll die GPU fast doppelt so schnell sein wie eine Iris Plus G4 der Ice Lake Generation. Dies ist aber abhängig von TDP Settings (15 - 25 Watt Default) und Kühlung.

In unseren Benchmarks variiert die Grafikleistung je nach eingesetztem Notebook (Kühlung und TDP-Settings entscheiden). Im Durchschnitt ist die schnellere Xe Graphics G7 mit 96 EUs in den Topmodellen 22% schneller (Durchschnitt 3DMark 11, Time Spy GPU und The Witcher 3 low). Eine dedizierte GeForce MX350 kann 14% herausholen. Die MX330 ist sogar 5% langsamer, hat aber den Vorteil eines besseren Treibersupports bei Spielen. Im Vergleich zu AMD positioniert sich die 80EU Variante zwischen Vega 7 und Vega 8. Die alte UHD Graphics 620 kann deutlich abgehängt werden (-70%). Siehe Benchmarkchart am Ende der Seite.

Trotzdem reicht die Leistung nicht für manche sehr anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele (wie Days Gone oder Cyberpunk 2077). Weniger anspruchsvolle moderne Spiele Hitman 3 oder Star Wars Squadrons können auch in mittlerer Detailstufe gespielt werden. Weiter unten sehen sie alle von uns getesteten Spiele mit verschiedensten Notebooks. 

Die Xe Graphics G4 wird im modernen 10nm+ (10nm SuperFin) Prozess bei Intel gefertigt und ist als Prozessorgrafikkarte sehr sparsam.

NVIDIA RTX A5000 Laptop GPU

Die Nvidia RTX A5000 Laptop GPU oder A5000 Mobile (für Laptops) ist eine professionelle Grafikkarte für mobile Workstations. Sie basiert auf die Consumer GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU und bietet ebenfalls 6.144 Grafik-Kerne, 48 RT-Kerne, 192 Tensor-Kerne und 16 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher. Im Vergleich zu einer günstigeren GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU mit Studio Treibern, bietet die RTX A5000 zertifizierte Treiber für zahlreiche professionelle Applikationen.

Wie auch die GeForce RTX 3080, ist auch die RTX A5000 in verschiedenen TGP-Versionen von 80 - 165 Watt erhältlich (maximaler Stromverbrauch). Je nach verbauter Variante unterscheiden sich die Taktraten von Chip und Speicher und damit auch deutlich die Performance.

Es gibt nun keine Max-Q Variante mehr (die 80 - 90 Watt Versionen heissen auch nur "Laptop GPU"), aber jede TGP-Version kann die Max-Q Technologien nutzen (Dynamic Boost, WhisperMode).

Die professionellen Grafikkarten von Nvidia bieten zertifizierte Treiber, welche auf Stabiltität und Performance bei professionellen Anwendungen (CAD-, DCC-, Medizin-, Prospektions-, Visualisierungsanwendungen) optimiert sind.

Die Leistung ist abhängig von der TGP-Variante und der verwendeten Kühlung. Bei gleichem TGP sollte sie aber deutlich oberhalb einer alten Quadro RTX 5000 bzw. RTX 5000 Max-Q für Laptops liegen. Die Desktop-Variante der RTX A5000 sollte jedoch deutlich schneller ausfallen (durch den höheren TGP und höhere Taktraten). Dadurch reicht die Leistung bei den meisten anspruchsvollen Spielen auch für 4k mit maximalen Details. 

Der GA104 Chip bietet 6144 FP32 ALUs wovon die Hälfte auch INT32 Befehle ausführen können (also 3072 INT32 ALUs). Bei Turing konnten noch alle Shader FP32 oder INT32 ausführen. Die Raytracing und Tensor Kerne auf dem Chip wurden laut Nvidia ebenfalls verbessert. Weiters integriert der Ampere Chip einen Hardware Video-Encoder (NVENC 5. Generation für H.264 und H.265) und Decoder (7. Generation für zahlreiche Formate inklusive AV1).

Der GA104 Chip wird bei Samsung im 8nm (8N) Verfahren welches mit dem 7nm Verfahren von TSMC nicht ganz mithalten kann (z.B. von AMD genutzt, aber auch für den professionellen GA100 Ampere Chip).

Nvidia RTX A2000

Die Nvidia RTX A2000 Desktop GPU ist eine professionelle Grafikkarte für kleine Workstation-PCs. Sie basiert auf dem GA106 Grafikchip, welcher unter anderem bei den Consumer-Grafikkarte GeForce RTX 3050 oder GeForce RTX 3060 zum Einsatz kommt. Der GA106 arbeitet jedoch nur mit 3.328 aktiven Shadereinheiten, sowie 26 RT-Kernen und 104 Tensor-Einheiten. Der VRAM umfasst 12-GB-GDDR6 und kommuniziert über ein 192-bit-Speicherinterface. Daraus ergibt sich eine Speicherbandbreite von 288 GB/s.

Die professionellen Grafikkarten von Nvidia bieten zertifizierte Treiber, welche auf Stabiltität und Performance bei professionellen Anwendungen (CAD-, DCC-, Medizin-, Prospektions-, Visualisierungsanwendungen) optimiert sind. Daraus ergeben sich viele Vorteile gegenüber den Consumer-Grafikkarten.

Kompaktes Design und Flexibilität:

Die RTX A2000 ist im Low-Profile-Formfaktor ausgeführt, was sie ideal für kleinere Workstations oder Systeme macht, bei denen Platz eine begrenzte Ressource ist. Trotz ihrer kompakten Größe bietet die Nvidia RTX A2000 eine beachtliche Rechenleistung.

Die Grafikkarte eignet sich hervorragend für 3D-Modelle, CAD-Anwendungen, Videobearbeitung und visuelle Effekte, bei denen hohe Präzision und Geschwindigkeit im Vordergrund stehen. Dank der Kombination aus CUDA-, Tensor- und Raytracing-Kernen bietet die Nvidia RTX A2000 erhebliche Leistungssteigerungen in den Bereichen Echtzeit-Rendering und KI-gestützte Bildverarbeitung.

Energieeffizienz und Leistungsaufnahme:

Mit einer TDP von nur 70 Watt ist die Nvidia RTX A2000 eine der energieeffizientesten Workstation-GPUs auf dem Markt.
