NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU ► remove from comparison Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU oder 3080 Ti Mobile (für Laptops, GN20-E8-A1) ist Anfang 2022 die schnellste Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie basiert auf den GA103S Ampere Chip und bietet 7424 Shader und 16 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher mit einem 256 Bit Grafikbus (mit 12 oder 14 Gbps). Sie unterstützt PCIe 4.0 und ist in verschiedenen Varianten (aktuell 80 - 165 Watt bekannt) verfügbar. Je nach TGP-Variante taktet die Grafikkarte im Boost von 1125 bis 1590 MHz. Die GPU unterstützt DirectX 12 Ultimate (12_2).
Es gibt nun keine Max-Q Variante mehr (die 80 - 95 Watt Versionen heissen auch nur "Laptop GPU"), aber jede TGP-Version kann die Max-Q Technologien nutzen (Dynamic Boost, Whispermode).
Die Leistung ist abhängig von der TGP-Variante und der verwendeten Kühlung. Durch die zusätzlichen Shader-Kerne sollte sie aber deutlich oberhalb der RTX 3080 Mobile liegen und damit auch anspruchsvolle Spiele in 4K flüssig darstellen können.
Der GA103 Chip bietet 7.680 FP32 ALUs wovon die Hälfte auch INT32 Befehle ausführen können (also 3.840 INT32 ALUs). Bei Turing konnten noch alle Shader FP32 oder INT32 ausführen. Weiters bietet der GA103 60 Raytracing Kerne und 240 Tensor Kerne (z.B. für DLSS). Der L2 Cache beträgt 4 MB und der PureVideo VP11 SIP unterstützt Feature Set K mit Hardware AV1 Dekodierung.
Der GA103S Chip wird bei Samsung im 8nm (8N) Verfahren welches mit dem 7nm Verfahren von TSMC nicht ganz mithalten kann (z.B. von AMD genutzt, aber auch für den professionellen GA100 Ampere Chip).
AMD Radeon RX 7900M ► remove from comparison Die AMD Radeon RX 7900M ist eine Notebook-GPU der Spitzenklasse und basiert auf den Navi 31 Chip mit RDNA 3 Architektur. Die RX7900M bietet 4.608 Shader (72 CUs), einen 256 Bit Speicherbus für 16 GB GDDR6 und 64 MB Infinity Cache. Der durchschnittliche Takt bei Spielen (Game Clock) wird von AMD mit 1825 MHz spezifiziert.
Die Spieleleistung wird von AMD mit einer mobilen RTX 4080 verglichen und soll im Schnitt um 7% schneller sein. Die Raytracing Performance hat sich mit RDNA 3 zwar deutlich erhöht, kann mit Nvidia jedoch noch nicht mithalten und DLSS bleibt weiterhin ein großer Vorteil von Nvidia.
Die integrierte Media-Engine unterstützt 4K H.264, H.265/HEVC und AV1 De- und Encoding.
Der Navi 31 Chip wird bei TSMC in 5nm gefertigt. AMD spezifiziert den TGP mit 160 - 180 Watt, wobei 200 Watt inkl. SmartShift (von der CPU) möglich sind.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 ► remove from comparison Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 ist eine High-End Desktop Grafikkarte mit 12 GB Videospeicher. Im Januar wurde diese Grafikkarte präsentiert, wenngleich die Verfügbarkeit nur bedingt befriedigt werden konnte. Die GeForce RTX 3060 ist die kleinste Version der neuen RTX 3000 Serie, die nun mit der Ampere-Architektur Turing komplett abgelöst hat. Die GPU verfügt über 3.584 Shadereinheiten / Kerne und basiert auf dem GA106-Chip. Der VRAM fällt mit 12-GB-GDDR6-Speicher üppig aus.
Features
Der GA106-Chip wird in 8nm gefertigt und bietet weiterhin die bekannten Features, wie DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) und Real Time Ray Tracing. Allerdings hat Nvidia hier stark nachgebessert um die Leistung bei Nutzung dieser Features nochmals deutlich zu steigern.
Performance
Die Performance der GeForce RTX 3060 liegt etwas über dem Niveau einer Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070. Damit ordnet sich die RTX 3060 im unteren High-End-Segment ein und kann alle modernen Spiele der Jahre 2020 und 2021 in hohen Einstellungen und in 1.080p flüssig darstellen.
Leistungsaufnahme
Die Leistungsaufnahme der GeForce RTX 3060 wird vom Hersteller mit 170 Watt beziffert und liegt damit etwas über dem Vorgängermodell (GeForce RTX 2060 160 Watt). Im Vergleich zur ähnlich schnellen Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070, ist der Stromverbrauch jedoch etwas geringer. Die Leistung pro Watt konnte somit nochmals gesteigert werden.
