Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU oder 3070 Mobile (für Laptops, GN20-E5, Max-P / Max-Q) ist Anfang 2021 die zweit-schnellste Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie basiert auf den GA104-770-A1 Ampere Chip und bietet 8 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher mit einem 256 Bit Grafikbus (mit 12 oder 14 Gbps). Sie unterstützt PCIe 4.0 und soll in zwei verschiedenen Varianten mit 80, 90, 115 bzw. 125 Watt (TGP) verfügbar sein. Als Package nutzt die Notebook-Grafikkarte GB5-256 und die Chipgröße soll 40x40mm betragen. Die GPU unterstützt eDP 1.4b zum Anschluss des internen Monitors.
Es gibt nun keine Max-Q Variante mehr (die 80 - 90 Watt Versionen heissen auch nur "Laptop GPU"), aber jede TGP-Version kann die Max-Q Technologien nutzen (Dynamic Boost, Whispermode).
Die Leistung ist abhängig von der TGP-Variante und der verwendeten Kühlung. Im Schnitt sollte sie etwa auf dem Level einer alten RTX 2080 Super Mobile liegen. Dadurch reicht die Leistung bei den meisten anspruchsvollen Spielen auch für 4k mit maximalen Details. Bei 1080p sind auch Frameraten über 100 fps möglich.
Der GA104 Chip bietet 6144 FP32 ALUs wovon die Hälfte auch INT32 Befehle ausführen können (also 3072 INT32 ALUs). Bei Turing konnten noch alle Shader FP32 oder INT32 ausführen. Die Raytracing und Tensor Kerne auf dem Chip wurden laut Nvidia ebenfalls verbessert. Die RTX 3070 nutzt 5120 der 6144 Kerne. Weiters integriert der Ampere Chip einen Hardware Video-Encoder (NVENC 5. Generation für H.264 und H.265) und Decoder (7. Generation für zahlreiche Formate inklusive AV1).
Der GA104 Chip wird bei Samsung im 8nm (8N) Verfahren welches mit dem 7nm Verfahren von TSMC nicht ganz mithalten kann (z.B. von AMD genutzt, aber auch für den professionellen GA100 Ampere Chip).
Intel HD Graphics 520 ► remove from comparison
Die Intel HD Graphics 520 (GT2) ist eine Prozessorgrafikkarte der im Sommer 2015 vorgestellten Skylake-Generation. Als Nachfolger der HD Graphics 5500 (Broadwell) ist die HD Graphics 520 dabei in den ULV-Modellen der 15-Watt-Klasse zu finden. Die sogenannte GT2-Ausbaustufe der Skylake-GPU verfügt über 24 Execution Units (EUs), die je nach Modell mit bis zu 1.050 MHz takten.
Mangels eigenem Grafikspeicher oder eDRAM-Cache greift die HD Graphics 520 über das Interface des Prozessors auf den System-RAM zu (2x 64 Bit DDR3L-1600/DDR4-2133).
Performance
Die exakte Leistung der HD Graphics 520 hängt vom jeweiligen CPU-Modell ab, da sich Maximaltaktrate und Größe des L3-Caches leicht unterscheiden können. Zum anderen bestimmt auch der verwendete Speicher (DDR3/DDR4) die Performance.
Die höchste Leistung erreichen hochtaktende Core-i7-Ableger wie der Core i7-6600U . Je nach Spiel kann die HD 520 dann in etwa mit einer dedizierten GeForce 820M konkurrieren und aktuelle Spiele (Stand 2015) zumindest in niedrigen Einstellungen flüssig darstellen.
Features
Der überarbeitete Videodecoder decodiert nun auch H.265-/HEVC-Videos vollständig in Hardware und arbeitet dadurch deutlich effizienter als bislang. Die Bildausgabe erfolgt über DP 1.2/eDP 1.3 (max. 3.840 x 2.160 @ 60 Hz), wohingegen HDMI nur in der älteren Version 1.4a angeboten wird. Ein HDMI-2.0-Anschluss kann aber mittels Konverter von DisplayPort ergänzt werden. Maximal lassen sich drei Displays parallel angesteuern.
Leistungsaufnahme
Die HD Graphics 520 ist in ULV-Prozessoren der 15-Watt-Klasse zu finden und damit für schlanke Note- und Ultrabooks geeignet.

Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti ist eine schnelle Desktop-Grafikkarte der Ampere-Generation. Sie nutzt den großen GA104-Chip jedoch nur mit 4.864 Shader und 8 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher. Mit einer Leistungsaufnahme von 200 Watt braucht die GPU zwar viel Strom unter Last, die Energieeffizienz (Leistung pro Watt) konnte mit Ampere aber gesteigert werden. Die Spieleperformance in QHD sollte etwas oberhalb einer alten GeForce RTX 2080 Super liegen.
