Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU oder 3060 Mobile (für Laptops, GN20-E3, Max-P / Max-Q) ist Anfang 2021 die dritt-schnellste mobile Ampere-Grafikkarte. Sie basiert auf den GA106 Ampere Chip und bietet 6 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher mit einem 192 Bit Grafikbus (mit 12 oder 14 Gbps). Sie unterstützt PCIe 4.0 und soll in zwei verschiedenen Varianten mit 60 bis 115 Watt (TGP) verfügbar sein. Als Package nutzt die Notebook-Grafikkarte GB5-256 und die Chipgröße soll 40x40mm betragen. Die GPU unterstützt eDP 1.4b zum Anschluss des internen Monitors.
Es gibt nun keine Max-Q Variante mehr (die 60 - 70 Watt Versionen heissen auch nur "Laptop GPU"), aber jede TGP-Version kann die Max-Q Technologien nutzen (Dynamic Boost, Whispermode).
Die Leistung ist abhängig von der TGP-Variante und der verwendeten Kühlung. Im Schnitt sollte sie etwa auf dem Level einer alten RTX 2070 Super Mobile liegen. Dadurch ist die Leistung bei anspruchsvollen Spielen am besten für QHD (2560x1440) und maximalen Details geeignet. Weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele können auch in 4k flüssig gespielt werden.
Der GA106 Chip bietet 3.840 FP32 ALUs wovon die Hälfte auch INT32 Befehle ausführen können (also 1.920 INT32 ALUs). Die RTX 3060 nutzt davon alle 3840 Kerne. Bei Turing konnten noch alle Shader FP32 oder INT32 ausführen. Die Raytracing und Tensor Kerne auf dem Chip wurden laut Nvidia ebenfalls verbessert. Weiters integriert der Ampere Chip einen Hardware Video-Encoder (NVENC 5. Generation für H.264 und H.265) und Decoder (7. Generation für zahlreiche Formate inklusive AV1).
Der GA106 Chip wird bei Samsung im 8nm (8N) Verfahren welches mit dem 7nm Verfahren von TSMC nicht ganz mithalten kann (z.B. von AMD genutzt, aber auch für den professionellen GA100 Ampere Chip).
NVIDIA GeForce MX330 ► remove from comparison
Die Nvidia GeForce MX330 ist eine mobile Grafikkarte für Notebooks und Nachfolger der GeForce MX230 . Sie basiert auf die alte GeForce MX250 bzw. MX150 und laut unseren Quellen auf den GP108-655-A1 Chip. Die GPU bietet weiterhin 384 CUDA Kerne. Die Taktraten wurden nur minimal erhöht im Vergleich zur MX250 und sollten keinerlei spürbare Auswirkung auf die Performance haben (+12 MHz = 0,8%). Der GDDR5 Grafikspeicher wird mit einem 64 Bit Speicherinterface angebunden und mit 3500 MHz (7000 MHz effektiv) getaktet. Dadurch bietet die MX330 eine maximale Speicherbandbreite von 56,06 GB/s
Die Spieleleistung ist vergleichbar mit der MX250 und MX150 (siehe beide Seiten für detaillierte Benchmarks). Daher reicht die Leistung knapp nicht mehr bei sehr anspruchsvollen Spielen wie Red Dead Redemption 2. Weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele wie Fifa 20 oder Farming Simulator 19 können auch in mittleren bis hohen Deatailsettings flüssig gespielt werden.
Wie auch bei der MX250, sind wieder zwei Varianten mit 12 (+2 Watt) Watt (N17S-LP) bzw. 25 Watt TGP (N17S-G3) und unterschiedlicher Leistung geplant. Die LP (Low Power) Variante soll mit 746 - 936 MHz getaktet werden, die normale 25 Watt Variante bietet mit 1531 - 1594 MHz deutlich höhere Taktraten (+70% Boost).
NVIDIA GeForce MX350 ► remove from comparison
Die Nvidia GeForce MX350 ist eine mobile Grafikkarte für Notebooks und Nachfolger der GeForce MX250 . Die Grafikkarte wurde im Februar 2020 vorgestellt. Laut unseren Quellen nutzt die MX350 den selben GP107 Chip der Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 mit 640 Shadern. Der Speicherbus ist jedoch auf 64 Bit beschnitten (weiterhin GDDR5).
Nvidia gibt die Leistung der MX350 mit 2.5x so schnell wie eine Iris Plus G7 in einem Intel i7-1065G7 an. Erste Benchmarks zeigen ein Niveau der alten Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M hinter der GTX 1050. Im Vergleich zur alten MX250 kann die MX350 einen deutlichen Vorsprung von etwa 30% herausholen, es bleibt jedoch noch ein deutlicher Abstand zur GTX 1050 Max-Q . Damit eignet sich die Grafikkarte bei anspruchsvollen Spielen wie Doom Eternal nur für minimale Grafiksettings bei 1280x720. Ältere Spiele oder genügsamere Titel (wie Gears Tactics) laufen jedoch auch in mittlerer Detailstufe und Full HD. Unsere Spielebenchmarks finden Sie weiter unten.
Der GP107-Chip wird in einem 14-nm-FinFET-Prozess bei Samsung gefertigt und bietet eine Reihe neuer Features, unter anderem Support für DisplayPort 1.4 (ready), HDMI 2.0b, HDR, Simultaneous Multi-Projection (SMP) sowie verbessertes H.265 Video De- und Encoding (PlayReady 3.0). In neuen Nvidia Treibern ist die GeForce MX350 mit der Hardware ID 1C94 aufgetaucht.
Durch den reduzierten Speicherbus und die geringen Taktraten ist der Stromverbrauch deutlich hinter einer GTX 1050 (auch Max-Q in unseren Tests). Dadurch eignet sich die MX350 auch für dünne und flache Notebooks.
