Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Mobile (NVIDIA_DEV.2583, GN20-P1) ist die zweit-kleinste Variante der RTX 3000 Serie und basiert auf den GA107 Ampere Chip. Sie bietet 2560 CUDA-, 20 Raytracing und 80 Tensor-Kerne. Der Speicherbus ist 128 Bit breit und unterstützt 4 GB GDDR6 dedizierten Grafikspeicher. Die Taktung und damit Leistung ist abhängig von der Variante (35 - 80 Watt TGP).

Die Leistung liegt nach ersten Informationen zwischen GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q und GTX 1660 Ti. Damit reicht die Performance für Full HD Gaming und hohe Detailstufen in anspruchsvollen Spielen. Für Raytracing Effekte reicht die Leistung kaum aus, jedoch können die Tensor-Kerne via DLSS in manchen Spielen zu einer höheren Leistung helfen.
Der GA107 Chip bietet 3.072 FP32 ALUs wovon die Hälfte auch INT32 Befehle ausführen können (also 1.536 INT32 ALUs). Bei Turing konnten noch alle Shader FP32 oder INT32 ausführen. Die Raytracing und Tensor Kerne auf dem Chip wurden laut Nvidia ebenfalls verbessert. Weiters integriert der Ampere Chip einen Hardware Video-Encoder (NVENC 5. Generation für H.264 und H.265) und Decoder (7. Generation für zahlreiche Formate inklusive AV1).
Der GA107 Chip wird bei Samsung im 8nm (8N) Verfahren welches mit dem 7nm Verfahren von TSMC nicht ganz mithalten kann (z.B. von AMD genutzt, aber auch für den professionellen GA100 Ampere Chip).
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Mobile ► remove from comparison
Die Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti für Laptops ist eine mobile Grafikkarte basierend auf der Turing Architektur. Sie basiert wie die Desktop-Version auf den TU116 Chip (TU116-750-A1).und wurde Ende April 2019 vorgestellt. Die GTX 1660 Serie bietet im Unterschied zu den stärkeren RTX 2000er Karten (z.B. RTX 2060 ) keine Raytracing und Tensor Kerne. Die Leistung sollte vergleichbar mit einer mobilen GTX 1070 sein, jedoch bei deutlich geringerem Stromverbrauch von 80 Watt TGP (versus 115 Watt). Im Vergleich zur Desktop Karte wurden die Taktraten reduziert (Basis 3%, Boost 10% geringer).
Im April 2020 gab es einen Refresh der GeFroce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q mit dem Codenamen N18E-G0-A1. Die Specs bleiben aber vergleichbar, der Chip ist im selben Package erhältlich wie die neuen RTX Chips (z.b. RTX 2070 Super ).
Bei der Turing Architektur gab es auch auf der Ebene der CUDA-Kerne deutliche Verbesserungen. Float und INT Operationen können nun gleichzeitig ausgeführt werden, der Cache wurde vereinheitlicht und verbessert und Adaptive Shading eingeführt. Nvidia spricht dadurch von einer bis zu 50% höheren Leistung pro Kern im Vergleich zu Pascal.
Der Stromverbrauch ist mit 80 Watt TGP (Total Graphics Power) von Nvidia spezifiziert und damit 20 Watt oberhalb der effizienteren aber langsameren GTX1660Ti Max-Q . Der verbaute TU116 Chip wird bei TSMC im 12nm FFN Verfahren gefertigt.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Mobile ► remove from comparison
Die Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 für Laptops ist eine mobile Grafikkarte basierend auf der Turing Architektur. Sie basiert wie die Desktop-Version auf den TU117 Chip und nutzt entweder 896 oder 1024 Shader. Die GTX 1650 Serie bietet im Unterschied zu den stärkeren RTX 2000er Karten (z.B. RTX 2060 ) keine Raytracing und Tensor Kerne. Die Leistung sollte etwas oberhalb einer mobilen GTX 1050 Ti sein, jedoch bei deutlich geringerem Stromverbrauch.
Mit dem Refresh im März 2020 ist auch eine GDDR6 Variante (N18P-G61, 896 Shader, max. 4 GB 12 Gbits) erhältlich.

Nvidia spezifiziert einen Stromverbrauch von 50 Watt TGP (Total Graphics Power) für die Grafikkarte und damit 15 Watt mehr als die langsamere und effizientere Max-Q Variante der GTX1650 . Der TU117 Chip wird bei TSMC im 12nm FFN Verfahren gefertigt.
