Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 A Laptop GPU (oder Mobile) ist eine neue Variante basierend auf die aktuelle Ada Lovelace Architektur (im Vergleich zu Ampere bei den anderen RTX 3050 Laptop GPUs). Sie nutzt den AD106 Chip der RTX 4060 oder AD107 der RTX 4050, jedoch mit deutlich verringerter Kernanzahl und Speicherbus. Die RTX 3050 A bietet nur 1.792 GPU Kerne (CUDA Cores) und ein 4GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher der nur mit 64-Bit angebunden ist. Nach aktuellen Informationen ist die 3050 A zum Launch nur für den Indischen Markt gedacht.
Durch die geringe Kernanzahl und den kleinen Speicherbus, sollte die Performance nicht deutlich überhalb der alten RTX 3050 4GB Laptop GPU liegen.
Der AD106 Chip wird bei TSMC im 5nm (4N) Verfahren gefertigt und ist dadurch deutlich effizienter als der alte Ampere Chip der RTX 3050 4GB. Der TGP kann vom Notebookhersteller zwischen 35 und 50 Watt gewählt werden (System Power).

Die NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770M ist eine DirectX 11 Notebook-Grafikkarte der High-End Klasse, welche Mitte 2013 vorgestellt wurde. Sie basiert auf dem GK106- Chip der Kepler -Serie und wird in 28nm bei TSMC hergestellt. Im Vergleich zur GTX 670MX ist die 770M höher getaktet (Kern und Speicher) und weist sonst die selben Eckdaten auf.
Die GeForce 700M Serie bietet als neues Feature den sogenannten GPU Boost 2.0 . Damit kann sich der Grafikkern automatisch übertakten wenn genügend Kühlleistung vorhanden ist. Laut Nvidia sollen dadurch bis zu 15% mehr Performance möglich sein, wenn Applikation und Notebook genügend Spielraum bieten.
Architektur Der GK106 verfügt als Kepler-Chip über 5 Shader-Blöcke mit je 192 CUDA Cores, die vom Hersteller mit dem Kürzel SMX bezeichnet werden. Bei der 770M sind davon alle 5 aktiviert. Zwei SMX bilden zusammen mit zwei Polymorph Engines und einer gemeinsamen Raster Engine einen sogenannten GPC (Graphics Processing Cluster). Da die Shader keine eigene Takt-Domain mehr besitzen (Hot Clock), entspricht die Rechenleistung in etwa der Hälfte der Einheiten der Fermi-Architektur mit doppelter Taktrate. Diese Änderung ist einer der Gründe dafür, dass sich laut Nvidia die Energieeffizienz gegenüber dem Vorgänger verdoppelt hat. Auch die Tesselations-Leistung soll - speziell bei hohen Faktoren - noch einmal deutlich verbessert worden sein.
Leistung Die Performance der GeForce GTX 770M liegt durch die höhere Taktfrequenz zwischen der Geforce GTX 675MX und der GeForce GTX 680M . Durch den GPU Boost 2.0 ist die Leistung jedoch von Applikation und Kühlleistung des Notebooks abhängig. Sehr anspruchsvolle Spiele wie Crysis 3 oder Far Cry 3 sind dadurch nur in hohen Details bei 1.600x900 Pixeln flüssig spielbar . Die meisten aktuellen Spiele aus 2012 sind jedoch in Full HD und maximalen Details flüssig spielbar.
Features Das Featureset entspricht den Keplerkarten der GeForce GTX 600M Serie wie der GTX 670MX. Bis zu 4 aktive Displays (mit Optimus u.U. weniger) können mit der GTX 770M betrieben werden, die mit einer maximalen Auflösung von 3.840 x 2.160 Pixeln zum Beispiel über DisplayPort 1.2 oder HDMI 1.4a angebunden werden können. HD-Audio-Formate wie Dolby True HD und DTS-HD lassen sich als Bitstream an einen geeigneten Receiver senden. Wie in der Vergangenheit kann jedoch auch weiterhin 3D Vision nicht mit Optimus-Unterstützung kombiniert werden.
Der PureVideo HD Videoprozessor der fünften Generation (VP5) kann die Formate MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264 und VC1/WMV9 bis zu einer Auflösung von 4k decodieren und somit den Prozessor entlasten. Auch zwei parallele Streams, beispielsweise für Picture-in-Picture bei einer Blu-Ray, sind möglich. Eine weitere Neuerung ist die Integration eines dedizierten Videoencoders ähnlich Intels Quick Sync, der über die NVENC-API angesprochen werden kann.
Die Leistungsaufnahme der GeForce GTX 770M sollte bei rund 75 Watt liegen (wie bei der 670MX laut Gerüchten) und sich dadurch am besten für Notebooks im Bereich 15-17 Zoll eignen. Bei geringer Last helfen zusätzliche Taktstufen dabei, Energie einzusparen, im Leerlauf kann die GPU mit Hilfe der Optimus-Technologie zugunsten eines IGP auch vollständig deaktiviert werden.

Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is zum Launch Anfang 2022 die schnellste GeForce Grafikkarte der Ampere-Generation. Sie nutzt den großen GA102-Chip mit 10.752 Shader und 24 GB GDDR6X Grafikspeicher.
Mit einer Leistungsaufnahme von 450 Watt braucht die GPU zwar sehr viel Strom unter Last, die Energieeffizienz ist jedoch trotzdem sehr gut (Leistung pro Watt).
