Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 für Laptops (GN20-S7) ist eine mobile Gaming-Grafikkarte der unteren Mittleklasse. Sie bietet mit 2.048 Shader sogar mehr Kerne als die RTX 2060, aber der Speicherbus wurde deutlich beschnitten (nur 64 Bit). Dadurch kann auch ein niedriger Stromverbrauch errreicht werden (30 - 45 Watt TGP). Je nach Variante erreicht die GPU einen Boost-Speed von 1155 - 1477 MHz. Die bis zu 4 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher werden mit 14 GBps getaktet und erreichen damit 112 GB/s maximalen Datendurchsatz. Im Unterschied zur baugleichen GeForce MX570 bietet die RTX 2050 Support für Raytracing und DLSS.
Performance
Die Performance der mobilen GeForce RTX 2050 sollte durch den beschnittenen Speicherbus deutlich unterhalb der mobilen RTX 2060 liegen. Erste Benchmarks zeigen eine Leistung knapp oberhalb der GeForce 1650 und auf dem Niveau der baugleichen GeForce MX570 . Dank DLSS kann bei einigen Spielen aber eine höhere Qualität erreicht werden.
Der GA107 Chip wird bei Samsung im 8nm (8N) Verfahren welches mit dem 7nm Verfahren von TSMC nicht ganz mithalten kann

Die Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 mit Max-Q Design ist eine Mittelklasse-GPU basierend auf der Pascal-Architektur und wurde im Januar 2018 vorgestellt. Je nach Kühlungsdesign ist sie 10-15% langsamer als eine GTX 1050 . Wie die GTX 1050, basiert die Max-Q Variante auf den GP107 Chp, der in 14 nm bei Samsung produziert wird.
Im Vergleich zur normalen GTX 1050 gibt es noch weitere Unterschiede als den Takt. Der Treiber wurde auf Effizienz (und nicht Leistung) optimiert (nur für die Max-Q Modelle), optimierte Spannungswandler für 1V Betreib, high-end Kühlungsmethoden und eine 40 dB Grenze für die Lüfterlautstärke (mit Taktanpasssungen um dies jederzeit zu gewährleisten) zeichnen die Max-Q Variante aus.

Performance
Die exakte Performance der GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q kann sich in Abhängigkeit von der Kühlung des jeweiligen Notebooks stark unterscheiden. Nvidia gibt an das die durchschnittliche GTX 1050 mit Max-Q Design etwa 10 bis 15 Prozent langsamer ist als eine GTX 1050. Dadurch eignet sich die Grafikkarte am besten für Full HD und hoher (aber nicht maximaler) Detailstufe.
Leistungsaufnahme
Die Leistungsaufnahme der GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q ist von Nvidia mit 34 bis 40 Watt angegeben (je nach Taktung) und damit deutlich geringer als die 53 Watt der normalen GeForce GTX 1050 . Dadurch eignet sich die Grafikkarte auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks.

Die Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 mit Max-Q Design ist eine mobile High-End-GPU der Pascal-Serie. Sie ist gedacht für dünne und leichte Notebook und je nach Kühlungsdesign etwa 10-15% langsamer als eine normale GTX 1060 für Laptops . Der Basistakt liegt mit 1063 - 1265 MHz deutlich unterhalb der normalen GTX 1060 (1506 MHz, mind. -16%) und auch der Boost erreicht mit 1341 - 1480 bei weitem nicht die 1708 MHz (mind. -13%) der regulären GTX 1060. Der Speichertakt ist jedoch gleich.
