Die Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 SLI (Laptop) bezeichnet einen SLI-Verbund aus zwei High-End GeForce GTX 1080 Grafikkarten. Die GPUs nutzen denselben GP104-Chip mit 2.560 CUDA-Kernen wie das Desktop-Modell. Beide Karten rendern jeweils abwechselnd ein Bild (AFR), wodurch sich die Leistung gegenüber einer einzelnen GPU im Optimalfall fast verdoppelt. Der je 8 GB große Grafikspeicher verdoppelt sich durch den Einsatz beider Karten nicht, da jeweils die selben Daten gespeichert werden.
Der GP104-Chip wird in einem 16nm-FinFET-Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und bietet eine Reihe neuer Features, unter anderem Support für DisplayPort 1.4 (ready), HDMI 2.0b, HDR, Simultaneous Multi-Projection (SMP) sowie verbessertes H.265 Video De- und Encoding (PlayReady 3.0). Die Performance der GTX 1080 SLI ist stark abhängig vom Treibersupport und den Spielen. Im Optimalfall wird die Performance einer einzelnen GTX 1080, wie schon bei den Vorgängern, fast verdoppelt, in anderen Fällen kann der Verbund auch deutlich schlechter oder gar nicht skalieren. Des Weiteren können mehr oder weniger ausgeprägte Mikroruckler die gefühlte Performance beeinträchtigen. Dennoch lassen sich die meisten Spiele des Jahres 2016 in maximalen Einstellungen und 4K-Auflösung flüssig darstellen, was die GTX 1080 SLI zum Zeitpunkt der Vorstellung zur schnellsten Notebook-Grafiklösung auf dem Markt macht.
Im SLI-Verbund verdoppelt sich der Stromverbrauch gegenüber einer einzelnen GTX 1080, sodass beide Karten zusammen wie das Vorgängermodell GTX 980 SLI (Notebook) bis zu 360 Watt aufnehmen können. Aus diesem Grund ist die Grafiklösung nur in sehr großen und schweren Gaming-Notebooks zu finden.

Die NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti ist eine Mittelklasse Grafikkarte für Desktop PC s. Sie basiert auf den Maxwell Chip der ersten Generation namens GM107 welcher im 28nm Prozess hergestellt wird. Dieser legt vor allem Wert auf Energie-Effizienz und kann in diesem Punkt deutlich gegen die Vorgänger mit Kepler Architektur und auch die Konkurrenz von AMD (GCN) punkten. Weiterhin unterstützt die GTX 750 Ti jedoch nur DirectX 11.2 mit dem Feature Level 11_0.
Die GeForce GTX 750Ti ist vergleichbar mit der etwas langsameren GeForce GTX 860M Grafikkarte für Laptops , die auf den gleichen Chip basiert und ähnliche Taktraten bietet.
Die 3D Spieleleistung der GeForce GTX 750 Ti positioniert sich zwischen Radeon R7 260X und R7 265 (auch beides Desktop Grafikkarten) bzw zwischen GTX 750 und GTX 660 verglichen mit Nvidia Grafikkarten. In unseren Tests schaffte es die 750 Ti knapp nicht mehr anspruchsvolle Spiele in 1920x1080 und maximalen Details flüssig darzustellen (siehe Spielebenchmarks weiter unten).
Der Stromverbrauch der mit nur 60 Watt TDP spezifizierten Grafikkarte ist sehr gering im Konkurrenzvergleich. Die knapp langsamere Radeon R7 260X und auch die Grafikkarten der Vorgängergeneration brauchen deutlich mehr Strom unter Last.
