Die Intel Arc B580 Limited Edition ist Intels neuester Beitrag im GPU-Markt und richtet sich an Gamer und Content Creator, die Wert auf moderne Features und ein attraktives Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis legen. Mit der Battlemage-Architektur bietet die Karte zahlreiche aktuelle Technologien und eine verbesserte Performance bei einer geringeren Leistungsaufnahme. Zudem ist die Grafikkarte aufgrund des attraktiven Preises eine gute Wahl für den preisbewussten Käufer.

Features

Auf Basis der Battlemage-Architektur hat Intel die bisherigen Features weiter verbessert und liefert nun mehr Leistung als zuvor. Somit gibt es die Unterstützung für hardwarebeschleunigtes Raytracing mit 20 RT-Kernen für realistische Beleuchtung und Schatten. Auch XeSS ist mit dabei (Xe Super Sampling) und ist das Gegenstück zu AMDs FSR oder Nvidias DLSS-Technik. XeSS ist Intels KI-gestützte Upscaling-Technologie und verbessert die Leistung, ohne die Bildqualität zu beeinträchtigen. Die Implementierung obliegt jedoch den Spieleherstellern. Weiterhin gibt es die hardwareseitige Unterstützung für den AV1-Codec, welcher ideal für effizientes Video-Streaming ist. Anschlussseitig ist man mit HDMI 2.1 und DisplayPort 2.0 vergleichsweise gut aufgestellt.

Performance

Die Intel Arc B580 ist speziell für 1.080p- und 1.440p-Gaming optimiert. Sie liefert bei aktuellen AAA-Spielen flüssige Bildraten auf hohen Grafikeinstellungen. Mit 12 GB GDDR6-Speicher und einem 192-Bit-Speicherinterface bietet sie ausreichend Leistung für anspruchsvolle Anwendungen wie Videobearbeitung und 3D-Rendering.

Im Vergleich kann es die Intel Arc B580 mit der Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 und der AMD Radeon RX 7600 aufnehmen. Besonders in Spielen, die XeSS unterstützen, kann sie eine deutliche Performance-Steigerung zeigen. Die Raytracing-Performance ist besser als bei den direkten Kontrahenten der gleichen Preisklasse.

Leistungsaufnahme

Mit einer TDP von 190 Watt ist die Intel Arc B580 nicht ganz so sparsam wie bei einer Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 oder der AMD Radeon RX 7600. Gegenüber einer Intel Arc A580 schneidet die Intel Arc B580 jedoch deutlich besser ab und zeigt, dass Intel hier die Entwicklung in die richtige Richtung lenkt.

Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 ist eine Mid-Range-Desktop-GPU und wird im 5 nm Verfahren bei TSMC gefertigt. Mit der GeForce RTX gibt es derzeit das preiswerteste Modell, welche auf der Ada Lovelace Architektur setzt und entsprechend die neuen Features wie DLSS 3.0 unterstützt. Als Chip kommt hier der AD107 zum Einsatz. Dieser vereint 3.072 Schadereinheiten und 8-GB-GDDR6 stehen hier für die Verarbeitung der Bilddaten zur Verfügung. Das Speicherinterface beträgt 128 Bit, woraus im Zusammenspiel mit dem VRAM-Takt eine Speicherbandbreite von 272 GB/s resultiert.

Features

Die bereits mit den High-End-Modellen der Ada-Lovelace-Generation Einzug gehaltenen Features, wie DLSS 3.0 mit Framegeneration, wird der Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 nicht vorenthalten. Damit hebt sich die neue Mittelklasse von der Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 deutlich ab und kann in Spielen, welche diese Features bieten, einen deutlichen Vorteil erlangen. 

Performance

Ohne DLSS reiht sich die Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 knapp hinter einer Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti ein. Gegenüber AMD duelliert sich die Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 oftmals mit einer AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT. Mit der Leistung bedient die GeForce RTX 4060 den 1.080p Gaming-Bereich. Mitunter reicht die Leistung auch für 1.440p, wenngleich hierbei eher auf betagte Spiele zurückgegriffen werden muss. Zudem sollte man bei brandaktuellen Spielen mit einigen Abstrichen bei der Detailtreue gemacht werden. Für eine mittlere und hohe Detailstufe reicht die Leistung für spielbare Frameraten.

Leistungsaufnahme

Die Leistungsaufnahme der Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 wird vom Hersteller mit 115 Watt (TDP) angegeben. Das ist deutlich weniger als bei einer Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, welche mit einer TDP von 170 Watt daherkommt. Im Vergleich zur Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (200 Watt TDP) steht die Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 ausgezeichnet dar und liefert eine ähnliche Leistung bei deutlich geringer Leistungsaufnahme. Die Stromversorgung wird neben dem PCIe-Slot über einen weiteren 6+2-Pin-Anschluss sichergestellt.

Intel Arc A350M

Die Intel Arc A350M ist eine dedizierte Einstiegs-Grafikkarte von Intel für Notebooks. Sie basiert auf den ACM-G11 Chip und bietet 6 der 8 Xe-Kerne (96 ALUs), 6 der 8 Ray-Tracing-Units, 1,152 MB L1-Cache und 4MB L2-Cache. Das Speicherinterface ist 64 Bit breit und unterstützt 4GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher mit 14 Gbps. Der TGP ist zwischen 25 und 35 Watt je nach Modell.

Die Performance sollte etwas oberhalb der älteren Intel Xe Max liegen (ebenfalls 96 ALUs) und dadurch in der Einstiegsklasse von dedizierten GPUs.

Der ACM-G11 Chip wird bei TSMC in 6nm gefertigt (N6 Prozess) und bietet 7,2 Mrd. Transistoren und ist 157 mm2 groß. Er integriert zwei Media Engines für VP9, AVC, HEVC, AV1 8k60 12-Bit HDR Dekodierung und 8k 10-Bit HDR Enkodierung. Die integrierten 4 Display Pipes unterstützen 4x 4k120 HDR, HDMI 2.0B, DP 2.0 10G und Adaptive Sync. 

Mittels Deep Link kann mit einer CPU der 12. Generation (Alder Lake) Dynamic Power Share genutzt werden.
