Das dazugehörige SoC (System-on-a-Chip) wurde im November 2021 vorgestellt und ist in vielen Android-basierten High-End-Produkten des Jahres 2022 zu finden.
Qualcomm verspricht gegenüber dem Vorgänger Adreno 660 ein Leistungsplus von bis zu 30 Prozent sowie eine um 25 Prozent verringerte Leistungsaufnahme. Die Geschwindigkeit der Vulkan-API soll sogar um bis zu 60 Prozent verbessert worden sein.
Bei den technischen Daten geht Qualcomm nicht sehr tief in die Details, spricht jedoch von 30 Prozent mehr ALUs (Arithmetic Logic Unit) sowie Textureinheiten (TMU, Texture Mapping Unit) gegenüber dem Vorgänger. Die Taktrate soll über 800 MHz erreichen.
Die Adreno 730 unterstützt alle gängigen Android-APIs und ist bereits auf den Einsatz mit der Unreal-5-Engine vorbereitet.

Die Qualcomm Adreno 642L ist eine im Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G eingesetzte, ARM-SoC integrierte Grafikeinheit für Smartphones und Tablets. Der Chip ist ab Anfang 2021 erhältlich und wird hauptsächlich in Android-basierten Geräten der oberen Mittelklasse eingesetzt.
Laut Qualcomm bietet die Adreno 642L GPU eine um 40% höhere Performance als die alte Adreno 620 im Snapdragon 768G (vs 50% im Adreno 642). Dies wird auch durch den schnellen Speicherkontroller mit LPDDR5-Unterstützung ermöglicht.
Für Gaming unterstützt der Chip Variable Rate Shading und Qualcomm Game Quick Touch.
Die Grafikkarte unterstützt OpenCL 2.0 FP, OpenGL ES 3.2 und Vulkan 1.1.

Die Qualcomm Adreno 618 ist eine im Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 und 730G verbaute Grafikeinheit für Smartphones und Tablets (hautsächlich Android basiert). Sie ist in der oberen Mittelklasse positioniert.
Die Performance der Adreno 618 sollte leicht oberhalb der Adreno 616 liegen. In unseren Benchmarks sehen wir eine 14 - 30% höhere Performance. Falls die GPU im 730G verbaut wird, ist zusätzlich mit einer 15% höheren Leistung zu rechnen (durch höhere Taktraten).
Die Adreno 600 Serie unterstützt laut Wikipedia Vulkan 1.0, OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0 Full und DirectX 11_1. Der Chip sollte daher ein abgespeckter Adreno 630 (weniger Shader?) sein.
