Die Intel Arc A350M ist eine dedizierte Einstiegs-Grafikkarte von Intel für Notebooks. Sie basiert auf den ACM-G11 Chip und bietet 6 der 8 Xe-Kerne (96 ALUs), 6 der 8 Ray-Tracing-Units, 1,152 MB L1-Cache und 4MB L2-Cache. Das Speicherinterface ist 64 Bit breit und unterstützt 4GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher mit 14 Gbps. Der TGP ist zwischen 25 und 35 Watt je nach Modell.

Die Performance sollte etwas oberhalb der älteren Intel Xe Max liegen (ebenfalls 96 ALUs) und dadurch in der Einstiegsklasse von dedizierten GPUs.

Der ACM-G11 Chip wird bei TSMC in 6nm gefertigt (N6 Prozess) und bietet 7,2 Mrd. Transistoren und ist 157 mm2 groß. Er integriert zwei Media Engines für VP9, AVC, HEVC, AV1 8k60 12-Bit HDR Dekodierung und 8k 10-Bit HDR Enkodierung. Die integrierten 4 Display Pipes unterstützen 4x 4k120 HDR, HDMI 2.0B, DP 2.0 10G und Adaptive Sync. 

Mittels Deep Link kann mit einer CPU der 12. Generation (Alder Lake) Dynamic Power Share genutzt werden.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070

Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 ist eine High-End-Desktop-Grafikkarte basierend auf die Ada Lovelace Architektur. Sie nutzt den AD104 Chip und bietet 5.888 Kerne und 12 GB GDDR6X Grafikspeicher (192 Bit Bus mit 21 Gbits).

Die Gaming-Performance reicht auch bei anspruchsvollen Spielen wie bei Cyberpunk noch für 2k mit Ultra Settings. Mit Raytracing empfiehlt sich der Einsatz von DLSS und eventuell das Reduzieren der Auflösung. Im Konkurrenzvergleich ist die Performance vergleichbar mit der alten GeForce RTX 3080 bzw. der AMD Radeon 6800 XT. Im Vergleich zur mobilen GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, ist die Desktop-Version deutlich schneller.

Der AD104 Chip wird bei TSMC in 5 nm (4N mit EUV) produziert und ist mit einem TGP (Total Graphics Power) von 200 Watt spezifiziert.

Intel Arc A380

Die Intel Arc A380 ist eine günstige Einseiger-Desktop-GPU und wird im 6 nm Verfahren bei TSMC gefertigt. Der Grafikprozessor trägt die interne Bezeichnung DG2-128 und vereint 1.024 Shadereinheiten. Beim VRAM bekommt man immerhin noch 6 GB GDDR6, welche über ein 96-Bit-Interface angebunden sind (15.5 Gbps, 186 GB/s). Damit ist die Intel Arc A380 das viertschnellste Grafikkartenmodell aus dem Hause Intel.

Features

Da auch die Intel Arc A380 in der Basis auf der Alchemist-Architektur aufgebaut ist, verfügt auch das kleine Modell über die gleichen Features, wie die schnelleren Modelle der aktuellen Arc-Modelle. Dennoch müssen deutliche Leistungseinschränkungen gegenüber den schnelleren Modellen in Kauf genommen werden. Das sinnvollste Feature ist sicherlich die AV1-Unterstützung, welche das hardwareseitige Encodieren und Decodieren ermöglicht. 

Performance

Die Leistung der Intel Arc A380 kann nicht mit aktuellen Grafikkarten von AMD und Nvidia mithalten. Angesichts dessen ist diese Grafikkarte nicht ausschließlich für den Gaming-Einsatz zu empfehlen.

Leistungsaufnahme

Die Leistungsaufnahme der Intel Arc A380 wird vom Hersteller mit 75 Watt (TGP) beziffert. In puncto Effizienz kann die Intel Arc A380 aufgrund der geringen 3D-Leistung nicht überzeugen. Im internen Duell ist die Intel Arc A380 etwas effizienter als eine Intel Arc A580 oder eine Intel Arc A750.
