Sie basiert auf den ACM-G11 Chip und bietet 6 der 8 Xe-Kerne (96 ALUs), 6 der 8 Ray-Tracing-Units, 1,152 MB L1-Cache und 4MB L2-Cache. Das Speicherinterface ist 64 Bit breit und unterstützt 4GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher mit 14 Gbps. Der TGP ist zwischen 25 und 35 Watt je nach Modell.
Die Performance sollte etwas oberhalb der älteren Intel Xe Max liegen (ebenfalls 96 ALUs) und dadurch in der Einstiegsklasse von dedizierten GPUs.
Der ACM-G11 Chip wird bei TSMC in 6nm gefertigt (N6 Prozess) und bietet 7,2 Mrd. Transistoren und ist 157 mm2 groß. Er integriert zwei Media Engines für VP9, AVC, HEVC, AV1 8k60 12-Bit HDR Dekodierung und 8k 10-Bit HDR Enkodierung. Die integrierten 4 Display Pipes unterstützen 4x 4k120 HDR, HDMI 2.0B, DP 2.0 10G und Adaptive Sync.
Mittels Deep Link kann mit einer CPU der 12. Generation (Alder Lake) Dynamic Power Share genutzt werden.

Sie basiert nach ersten Gerüchten auf den AD107 Chip (Ada Lovelace Architektur) und bietet einen 96 Bit Speicherbus mit 6 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher und einer Taktung von effektiv 16 Gbps. Der TGP (Stromverbrauch kann von 35 bis 115 Watt rangieren plus zusätzlich etwa 10-25 Watt Dynamic Boost (von der CPU). Der Boost Takt rangiert von 1605 MHz (bei 35 Watt) bis zu 2370 MHz (115 Watt). Dadurch ist auch die Performance stark vom TDP abhängig.
Nach unseren Benchmarks mit einigen Notebooks positioniert sich die mobile RTX 4050 zwischen RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU und RTX 3060 Laptop GPU . Daher eignet sich die GPU am besten für 1920x1080 Gaming bei hohen bis maximalen Detailsettings (je nach Spiel, siehe unten).
Die RTX 4050 bietet 80 Tensor-Kerne für DLSS 3 inklusive Frame Generation wodurch unterstütze Spiele einen deutlichen Geschwindigkeits-Boost erfahren können (bei minimalem Qualitätsverlust). Die 20 Raytracing-Kerne werden jedoch wenig genutzt werden können, da die RTX 4050 zu wenig Leistung bietet um sinnvoll Raytracing-Effekte aktivieren zu können.
Der AD107 Chip wird im 5nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt (4N).

Sie basiert auf den AD107 Chip (Ada Lovelace Architektur) und bietet wahrscheinlich 3.072 Shader und einen 128 Bit Speicherbus mit 8 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher und einer Taktung von effektiv 16 Gbps. Der TGP (Stromverbrauch kann von 35 bis 115 Watt rangieren plus zusätzlich etwa 15-25 Watt Dynamic Boost (von der CPU). Je nach TDP rangiert die maximale Taktrate von 1470 MHz (35 Watt) bis 2370 MHz (115 Watt).
In synthetischen Benchmarks kann sich die durchschnittliche RTX 4060 Laptop GPU zwischen einer RTX 3070 Laptop GPU und 3070 Ti Laptop GPU einordnen. Die Performance kann aber gerade bei geringen TDP-Varianten (z.B. mit nur 45 Watt) deutlich abweichen. In Spielen reicht die Performance meist für maximale Grafiksettings bei 1920x1080 für Frameraten > 60 fps (siehe unten). Weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele wie Baldurs Gate 3 sind auch in QHD flüssig spielbar (bei ausreichendem Power Limit der GPU).
Durch die 80 Tensor-Kerne unterstützt die RTX4060 auch DLSS3 inklusive Frame Generation. Die 20 Raytracing-Kerne werden jedoch nur selten genutzt werden, da die Leistung der RTX 4060 für maximale Details und Raytracing kaum ausreicht bei modernen Spielen.
