Die Intel Arc A310 ist eine dedizierte Einstiegs-Grafikkarte von Intel für Desktops. Sie basiert auf den ACM-G11 Chip und bietet 6 der 8 Xe-Kerne (96 ALUs), 6 der 8 Ray-Tracing-Units, 1,152 MB L1-Cache und 4MB L2-Cache. Das Speicherinterface ist 64 Bit breit und unterstützt 4GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher mit 15,5 Gbps. Der TGP ist zwischen 40 und 75 Watt je nach Modell.

Der A310 ist ähnlich zur mobilen Arc A350M, bis auf die höheren Taktraten der Kerne und des Speichers.

Der ACM-G11 Chip wird bei TSMC in 6nm gefertigt (N6 Prozess) und bietet 7,2 Mrd. Transistoren und ist 157 mm2 groß. Er integriert zwei Media Engines für VP9, AVC, HEVC, AV1 8k60 12-Bit HDR Dekodierung und 8k 10-Bit HDR Enkodierung. Die integrierten 4 Display Pipes unterstützen 4x 4k120 HDR, HDMI 2.0B, DP 2.0 10G und Adaptive Sync. 

Apple M2 Pro 16-Core GPU

Die Apple M2 Pro 16-Core GPU ist eine von Apple selbst designte Grafikkarte im Apple M2 Pro 10-Kern SoC und laut Apple mit 16 der 19 Kernen aktiviert (aktuell im Einstiegs-MacBook Pro 14 verbaut). Die GPU hat keinen dedizierten Grafikspeicher aber kann auf den schnellen gemeinsamen LPDDR5-6400? Speicher (unified Memory, 16 oder 32 GB) zugreifen.

Laut Apple soll die 19-Kern-Variante GPU 30% schneller sein als die alte 16-Kern GPU im M1 Pro sein. Daher sollte die 16-Kern-Variante ebenfalls schneller sein als die 16-Kern GPU im M1 Pro (aber nur minimal) und natürlich den direkten Vorgänger mit 14-Kernen deutlich abhängen.

Neu ist beim M2 Pro der Support für HDMI 2.1 (8K Displays).

Die iGPU unterstützt Apple's Metal 2 Schnittstelle und dürfte eine ähnliche Architektur wie die älteren PowerVR Grafikeinheiten (z.B. im Apple A10) aufweisen.

Da der SoC im 5nm Prozess bei TSMC hergestellt wird, sollte die Energieeffizienz hervorragend sein.

Apple M2 8-Core GPU

Die Apple M2 8-Kern-GPU ist eine selbst designte Grafikkarte im Apple M2 SoC und laut Apple mit acht der zehn Kerne. Die 8-Kern-Variante bietet wahrscheinlich 128 Ausführungseinheiten und eine theoretische Maximalleistung von 2,9 Teraflops (geschätzt). Damit ist sie um 0,3 Teraflop schneller als die alte 8-Kern-GPU im Apple M1 und soll auch größere Caches bieten. Im Vergleich zur 10-Kern-GPU ist die Taktung mit maximal 1398 MHz identisch, wodurch die stärkere Grafik etwa 25% schneller sein sollte.

Die M2-GPU unterstützt Apple's Metal 2 Schnittstelle und dürfte eine ähnliche Architektur wie die älteren PowerVR Grafikeinheiten (z.B. im Apple A10) aufweisen.

Da der SoC im (second generation) 5nm Prozess bei TSMC hergestellt wird (wahrscheinlich N5P), sollte die Energieeffizienz sehr sein. Nach unseren Messungen ist der Stromverbrauch der GPU alleine (laut internen Tools) bei etwa 10 Watt.
