Intel Core i7-4790T ► remove from comparison Der Intel Core i7- 4790T ist ein Desktop-Prozessor auf Basis der Haswell-Architektur, der im zweiten Quartal 2014 vorgestellt wurde. Er integriert vier Kerne (8 Threads) mit einer Taktrate von 2,7 - 3,9 GHz.
Architektur
Haswell ist der Nachfolger der 2012 vorgestellten Ivy-Bridge-Architektur und soll vor allem mit höherer Performance und verbesserter Energieeffizienz punkten. So wurde sowohl die Sprungvorhersage optimiert als auch die Zahl der Ausführungseinheiten erhöht, was insbesondere bei Verwendung von Hyper-Threading deutliche Leistungszuwächse verspricht. Neue Befehlssatzerweiterungen wie AVX2 und FMA sollen die Performance in darauf ausgelegten Anwendungen zusätzlich verbessern.
AMD Ryzen 7 6800H ► remove from comparison Der AMD Ryzen 7 6800H ist ein Mobilprozessor für große Notebooks (z.B. Gaming Laptops) basierend auf die Rembrandt Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 3+ Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) welche mit 3,2 GHz (garantierter Basistakt) bis zu 4,7 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (16 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 6nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und wurde Anfang 2022 vorgestellt.
Die neuen Rembrandt APUs bieten einige Neuerungen, wie Support für USB4 mit 40 Gbps, PCI-E Gen 4, DDR5-4800MT/s bzw LPDDR5-6400MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth LE 5.2, DisplayPort 2 und AV1 Decode in Hardware.
Die CPU Leistung ist pro Takt vergleichbar mit den alten Ryzen 5000 APUs, dank des neuen 6nm Prozess sind die CPUs aber höher getaktet und dadurch etwas schneller. Der 6800H sollte daher zwischen Ryzen 9 5980HX und Ryzen 9 5900HX sich einordnen. Die neuen Alder Lake H-Serie CPUs sollten jedoch eine höhere Leistung bieten (z.b. i7-12800H ).
Eine besondere Neuheit ist die aktualisierte Grafikkarte namens Radeon 680M , die nun endlich auf die aktuelle RDNA2-Architektur basiert und im 6800H 12 CUs mit bis zu 2,2 GHz Takt bietet.
Der TDP ist weiterhin mit 45 Watt spezifiziert (die schnelleren X-Modelle dürfen laut AMD auch mehr Strom ziehen).
