Das Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro mag mit seinem gemischten Design und schwarzen Farbschema wie jeder andere unauffällige Laptop am Markt aussehen, doch das Aussehen sagt nicht alles. Die Vorderseite trägt das Acer-Logo und der texturierte Bildschirmdeckel wird durch ein metallisches Scharnier-Layout gehalten. Das Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro verfügt über eine Tastatur in Vollgröße mit Nummernblock und ein multi-touch-fähiges Touchpad. Der Laptop glänzt bei der Spezifikation. Es handelt sich eigentlich um ein Einstieg-Gaming-Setup. Der Windows-8.1-Laptop ist mit einem Intel Core i7-4710HQ Quad-Core-Prozessor mit einer Taktrate von 2.5 GHz, 8 GB DDR3 Dual-Channel-RAM und einer NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M GPU mit 2 GB GDDR5 RAM ausgestattet. Zweifelsohne ist die Hardware leistungsfähig, besonders dank der Kombination aus 128 GB SSD und 1 TB HDD. Der 15,6 Zoll große LG Philips Bildschirm mit IPS-Technologie erzeugt lebendige Farben und einen guten Kontrast. Mit dem Realtek ALC283 High-Definition-Controller ist auch die Audioqualität gut. Alle Schnittstellen sind entlang der Seiten und bestehen aus drei USB-3.0-Ports, einen HDMI-Ausgang und einen Kartenleser. This nice looking notebook is also powerful and has an Full HD 1080P screen although it is only 15.6inches. The surprising thing is that it looks the right size even though the majority of 15.6inch offering give a much lower resolution.

Acers jüngster Versuch die Gaming-Community zu umwerben ist der brandneue Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition VN7-591G-74SK Gaming-Laptop. Das Äußere hat eine mattschwarze Lackierung, daher das "Black Edition" im Namen. Wie bei vielen anderen neue Laptops fehlt ein optisches Laufwerk, um den Laptop leichter und schlanker zu machen. Das Design ist für einen Gaming-Laptop mit knapp 2,54 cm überraschend dünn und sieht von der Seite irreal aus. Mit nur 2,2 kg ist das Gerät leicht und portabel.
Das Acer Aspire V15 verfügt über einen 15,6 Zoll großen Bildschirm mit 1920 x 1080 Pixeln. Das ist gerade recht um großartig auszusehen ohne die Hardware zu sehr zu beanspruchen. Natürlich ist die Hardware Spitzenklasse: ein leistungsstarker Intel Core i7 Quad-Core-Prozessor, 8 GB RAM und eine 860M Nvidia Grafikkarte.
Sogar die anspruchsvollsten Spiele laufen flüssig. Die Akkulaufzeit ist mit zwischen 2 bis 4 Stunden abhängig von der Last ziemlich respektabel für einen Laptop dieser Hardware, obwohl es hier Spielraum für Verbesserung gibt.Ausstattung / Datenblatt

You could also start over with a clean install of Windows 8 if you have a installation disk at home. We simply have trouble reconciling that Acer built this laptop specifically for gamers and several of these applications interfere with gameplay. In short, there is no excuse for having this much junk preinstalled from the factory on a laptop designed for gamers and priced at more than $1,000.

The Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition remains one of the best choices for a budget gaming laptop on the market and with the refreshed series – this machine gets even better. The design is almost perfect, just the port placement could be better, but still features a high-quality build. The keyboard is also nearly perfect with the red LED backlight. They provide good tactile feedback and the keys are excellent not only for gaming, but even for typing. It’s a good thing that Acer kept the high-quality IPS panel, but this one differs from the original version from last year. Besides the good color accuracy, high contrast and high maximum brightness, this panel uses PWM (pulse-width modulation) across all brightness levels, thus making the user experience less desirable.

Most gaming monitors offer a full HD display. The Nitro offers a good display with excellent viewing angles. Of course, the gaming performance at 4K resolution with heavy games such as Metro: Last Light was not impressive at maxed out settings. You will need to keep settings low to get playable frame rates at 4K resolution. Games such as Bioshock Infinite are playable with settings maxed out at full HD resolutions.

Acer: 1976 wurde das Unternehmen unter dem Namen Multitech in Taiwan gegründet und 1987 in Acer unbenannt bzw. Acer Group. Zur Produktpalette gehören beispielsweise Laptops, Tablets, Smartphones, Desktops, Monitore, Fernseher und Computer-Peripheriegeräte. Der Konzern ist seit 2007 mit Gateway Inc. und Packard Bell zusammengeschlossen, die ebenfalls eigene Laptop-Produktlinien vermarkten.
Acer Computer sind für verschiedene Zwecke geeignet, z. B. Ultrabooks für den mobilen Einsatz, Gaming-Laptops für Gamer, preisgünstige Optionen für alltägliche Aufgaben und 2-in-1-Convertible-Laptops für Vielseitigkeit. Das Produktportfolio von Acer umfasst auch Tablets, die tragbare Computer- und Multimediafunktionen bieten.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
